This part one had me all over the place Chalynn is definitely in need of a good man after what she’s been through. I was wondering why she was so closed off when it came to men but I understand perfectly. Berry ain’t worth a damn bc of how she’s doing her daughter & been doing her since she was born. I see why Tyson was the sole caregiver of Bailey I wouldn’t have trusted her with her own child either. Courtland needs to get a rude awakening soon bc how do you make a mother choose between you and her child. That’s beyond selfish if I ever seen it. Dinero lost the love of his life and his best friend all in the same day & on his daughter’s birthday nonetheless. I can imagine how birthdays will be for Destiny from now on and it’s sad. His friend were on some grimy hating ish and it showed in how they moved but their mothers weren’t anything to be proud of so I can understand why they turned out how they did to an extent. Dinero literally had the weight of the world on his shoulders and he handled it in stride. I love him and Chalynn together no matter how they may think they feel about one another bc of whatever other reasons. Tyson did his best to care for Bailey but it got to be too much. Berry really needs to reevaluate herself as a mother, a woman and person in general bc the way she is just disgusting. That cliffhanger definitely left me feeling some type of way fareal bc what??!! Wanna know how this part one is gonna go grab this banger but Dejah Rice to find out. Great job Dej 😊👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Whew huni you got me clutching my pearls with this cliffhanger. Poor Dinero was stuck grieving his wife and feeling bad for moving on when alone she cheated on him. Then the one person he thought he could trust was holding secrets that will definitely hurt him, his mom. I hope he can or give his mom but also work on building with Chalynn because they clearly have some chemistry. Chalynn Wes done wrong in college and it had her looking at men definitely but Dinero was different for her. I’m glad she is starting to open up but I d hope she don’t fall back into her ways of thinking. I also hope she gets her niece because a foster home is no place for a little girl. Berry is a lost cause. Courtland is no good for her, I just hope he don’t end up seriously hurting her. They don’t messed up giving Gwaup all that money because he about to act a whole fool lol. I’m very interested to see how things play out in the next part.

Very surprise by this book , first time reading this author and I have to say I am please . It has some drama but not too much . I can’t wait to read more from Berry , Dinero and especially Cha Cha .
