Let's face it, not many of us could afford a ring like this with genuine diamonds, and not many people will see us wear this one and not know that it's not real. That said, this is a really pretty ring that should you want to wear as an engagement ring then I say go ahead and do so. It's not the cost of the ring that matters it's the meaning behind it! It doesn't feel cheap and plastic-like, and the design is really quite beautiful. My engagement ring is being resized, it's a small solitaire. I thought I would have fun wearing this ring until mine comes back. It is so much bigger in both design and diamond size than mine that it completely overwhelms my wedding ring. I haven't been able to wear it which is a shame. My daughter said that she wouldn't mind wearing it next time she goes out with her friends hoping that unwanted attention is stopped if people think she's engaged. Not a bad idea.
