Holds seasoning well. Fairly smooth. Great for searing.
Durable, smooth, holds a seasoning. Had a skillet that was too smooth and the seasoning was always coming off. Lodge has improved their finishes and are more smooth, but hold the seasoning well. Great for searing, cooking eggs, baking, …. Love the skillet.

Lodge Yellowstone - 10.25" Skillet - Excellent Quality & Value
This Lodge Yellowstone - 10.25" Skillet is excellent quality and a fantastic value. It has a really cool look to it and is perfect for fans of the show, cast-iron lovers and people who enjoy cooking. It's definitely sturdy and I would definitely purchase it again in the future. Five stars from me.

No Design in bottom of Pans as shown in Pic. Design outside on bottom. Love them anyway.
I like very much my pans Purchased on 4/15/25. Just a disappointment in that the picture on Amazon shows a Yellowstone Design in bottom of the Pans. But there is No Design. Just a removable paper insert. Just a Heads Up. Disappointment on that. Otherwise Quality is evident. OK the design is on the bottom not inside the pan as shown in Pic. I Love them anyway!!!

Great gift idea
The product itself is wonderful, just as expected. I bought it as a birthday gift and she really liked it. When it was delivered, though, the handle had punctured a hole in the box and was sticking out. Thankfully it wasn’t damaged!

Yellowstone stamp is super cool
Bought this for a Christmas gift and almost kept it for myself. Seems to be just like my regular Lodge brand iron skillet but the Yellowstone stamp is super cool.

Una absoluta maravilla. Buen material, resistente, los puedes tratar mal y siguen siendo muy buenos. Hay que curarlos bien y darles su tratamiento después de cada uso y son una joya

I don't know what all the fuss is about for these cast iron pans. Everything sticks to it, even oil. I like the pan, it does keep the heat, but I can't cook anything in it. Put bacon in there, it sticks to bottom; eggs in bacon grease, forget it. Steak worked pretty well, but it stuck too. I only cook on medium heat; maybe I need to flood it with oil before I cook, but I don't want all the splatter and fat.

Once we made the move to cast iron, there was a short learning curve about seasoning it and then we never looked back. The lodge pans, once seasoned are fantastic. We have a chasseur but I don’t like the enameled coating in the pan.
