A MUST READ SERIES !!!
Where do I begin with this review? I have been patiently waiting for the third installment in The Eagle Elite Series and Rachel did not disappoint. I fell in love with Chase in Elite, Elect then while reading Entice, I fell harder.Throughout this book, your emotions will be put to the test. Chase's heart has been shattered when he lost the love of his life, Trace to his cousin, Nixon. Chase now has to sit back and watch Trace and Nixon have the relationship that he wants. Chase's heart is shattered, and he wants to leave so he doesn't have to be around Nixon and Trace. So when Mil asks Chase for a favor, he agrees to help her, not knowing what he was truly getting himself involved in.Mil has always loved Chase for as long as she can remember. The two of them have a past. One that Chase wants to forget, however Mil is in love with Chase. She always has been. Over the years, her love has turned to anger. So when Mil approaches Chase to help her, she knew that their hearts wouldn't be involved, since Chase no longer held his heart, Trace did.Things get crazy for sure for the Abandanato and De Lange families. When push comes to shove, Mil De Lange needs to step up to the plate and be head of the De Lange family. Nixon was not going to accept anything less. Mil wanted the position of the boss, then she needed to act like one. Nixon knows what he needs to do in order to have Mil act the part of the head of the De Lange family and will stop at nothing to do it even if it jeopardizes his relationship with Chase. Chase is furious with Nixon and how he is treating Mil, and something inside of Chase is set off. He vows to protect Mil at all costs and he won't allow anyone to mistreat her, not even Nixon.Chase begins to see things differently and when Chase finally realizes that maybe Trace didn't hold his heart, that maybe Mil has held his heart the entire time. Maybe he has been looking for something that has been right in front of him the entire time. Can they two of them accept each other for who they are? Can Chase love Mil the way she deserves? Has it always been Chase for Mil? Will Mil be able to save her family from the s*** storm her father got them in? Can Chase protect Mil? Will Chase and Mil both walk away unscathed? Will Nixon force Mil to be the leader she needs to be?There are parts where I was so pissed off at Nixon that I wanted to smack the s*** out of him, but by the end of the book, I wanted to pull him in and give him a hug. I may not have agreed with all of the things Nixon did in Entice, but I understood his motives. Sometimes you have to break the person in order to make them stronger. That is exactly what he did to Mil.Rachel will have you laughing at loud with Entice. Tex is hilarious and will have you cracking up. He may come off as a simple ass, but he is nothing of the sort. Everything Tex does is calculated. The chemistry between he and Mo is evident. This is another couple that has everything right in front of them, but they push each other away in order to protect themselves or to protect each other.Mil and Chase's relationship is a love hate relationship. Neither one of them will give in to the other. Both always trying to have the upper hand in the situation, but when they finally realize that the two of them are perfect for each other, it just clicks. I absolutely LOVE this series and I can not get enough of Chase!

New crush
Have I mentioned about my new crush Chase Winter from Eagle Elite?Oh my God! I have no words to describe the Entice. In the previous book in the series Trace finally made her decision which boy she wants to spend eternity with. And it wasn't our cocky Chase and he was devastated but when he received a proposition of the marriage from the new chosen boss of the De Lange family - Emiliana, not to mention younger Phoenix's step-sister, Chase decided to marry her. Emiliana, called Mil, has a lot of secrets and one of them is strongly connected to the Chase. He stole her innocence years ago but the girl still hates him for the cruel words just after their night. However now, Chase is her only chance to take the lead of the De Langes and she needs his help desperately. Is Chase able to forget about Trace? What kind of secrets does Mil hide?Story of Mil and Chase was totally incredible! New secrets were relieved and some of them were truly devastating. Mostly the mafia is presented as a bunch of handsome cocky men with weapons but we need to remember the other side of this business. And Rachel presented that perfectly in Entice we are able to see this ugly and cruel side of the mafia.Apart from that I have to say that Rachel's idea about chapters narrated by different characters is awesome! Totally enjoyed reading chapters written from Mil, Chase and Nixon's points of view. Well done 💥💥💥💥

Best of the Series so far!!
There isn’t one Rachel Van Dyken book that doesn’t pull me in from the very beginning, but there’s something extraordinary about her Eagle Elite Series. A big part of it is how she creates such diverse and dynamic characters as well as storylines that are intriguing and entertaining. I can’t get enough of her mob world, and I hope it never ends.At the end of Elect, I wasn’t sure how it was all going to turn out for Nixon, Trace, and Chase. Trace lost her best friend, and Chase lost who he thought was the love of his life. I didn’t see a way past it all for them. Then Mil enters their close knit family, and everything gets even more complicated, but in a way, it also makes everything so much clearer. Mil needs Chase’s help and protection, which is what he’s all about, and he willingly steps up despite the danger that will be headed their way. They all understand that by helping Mil, the Elite are bringing war to their doorsteps, which is nothing new, but there now seems to be so much more to lose. But they protect their own and they will continue to do so until their last dying breath.I’ve always been Team Nixon; even when he put Trace through hell and pushed her into Chase’s arms, I knew she belonged with Nixon, not Chase. I liked Chase and didn’t want to see him broken hearted, but Nixon has always been my book boyfriend in this series. After reading Entice, Chase has bridged the gap. Boy, does he come into his own in this story. He’s always been fiercely loyal and protective, but after Mil becomes his wife, and he starts to realize that she’s always been his, things become so much clearer for him. But will Chase and Mil have a chance to see what they can be to each other or will those gunning for them put an end to their relationship before it even really begins?Entice is the best of the series so far! There’s action, romance, comedy…everything that makes a book a must read. I love the multiple perspectives readers are given. Chase and Mil’s relationship is central to the story, so it’s important to see things from their eyes, but Nixon’s role in everything is essential as well, so I’m glad Rachel allowed his voice to play a role in telling this story. I also love the fact that we get to see Nixon and Trace work through things after all that went on in Elect. And then there’s Tex and Mo…there’s so much more to Tex than meets the eye, and readers are given insight into how and why he sees things and acts the way he does. It will be interesting to see what happens with them in Elicit. The world of the Elite is filled with blood, guns, and deception. It’s definitely not an easy world to live in, but as a reader, it’s one that I would gladly be a part of for a long time to come. Nixon and his Mafia brethren will keep readers coming back for more, and I, for one, can’t wait to see what happens next!A complimentary copy was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.5++ poison apples! This series just gets better
No matter how many times I have read this series, it never ceases to amaze me just how good it is.Entice is Chase's book and I loved it. Chase and Mil are brilliant together. They form a team in the beginning, that gradually develops into a strong partnership. I enjoyed how well the characters were developed. This series was what introduced me to Rachel Van Dyken and I have been addicted to her writing ever since. The Elite series has been one of my altime favourite series since I first read Elite.

I like Chase now lol!!
Not going to lie, the two previous books totally put me off Chase's character. There were little parts where I thought he was funny, but then his actions towards Trace and Nixon put me off.Well in this book he redeemed himself. I liked Mil from the moment her character came into the books. There was just something about her. I loved her growth in this book, and how together her and Chase overcame their obstacles.I did feel like parts were a little rushed, and like we missed a chunk of time that may have been cut in editing, but overall I really liked this book, and thanks to Tex's POV, I'm really looking forward to his and Mo's story

Sooo Good!!!!
I've finally managed to find time to get back to the Eagle Elite series and wow, I am so glad that I did. This series is getting better and better.I love any books about gangsters or the Mafia and this is series no exception. It has so many twists and turns and unfolding stories that I am left turning the pages of my ereader at warp speed just to get to them. The group of Nixon, Trace, Mo, Tex, Mil and Chace are coming to terms with the loss of Phoenix and the return to life of Nixon. Trace is beyond angry with Nixon for breaking her heart and turning her towards Chase but time has moved on and so has the next stage of the families' plot towards ending the dangers they currently face. One such danger comes from the self proclaimed Godfather himself, Vito Campisi, and after Mil reveals the horrors she experienced at the hands of her father and nearly at the hands of The Campo, the group decide it's time to bring down Vito before he can kill Mil.After Mil marries Chace, the two soon realise that the connection they felt for each other at 14 is still strong but can they trust each other and accept the feelings they have for one another as genuine? Chace is a dream of a character and part of me wanted him to end up with Trace but Mil is a much better match for him and they compliment each other perfectly. Initially I thought this book was going to primarily focus on Chace and Mil and whilst it does have a focus on them it was nice to be able to enjoy all of he other characters again. From Trace's innocence and determination to protect her new family to Tex's humour albeit in the face of his own painful past, I love each and everyone of these characters.I have to say though that it was Phoenix's letter to Mil towards end of the story that will stay with me though, I had tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat and now I miss him even more, despite his wrongdoings.I can't wait to read Elicit and Enforce... I just need to find some time to enjoy them!!!Reviewed on behalf of Jezabell Girl & Friends...

So love this book!!!!! Can't wait to read the rest :-)
Fantastic! I loved this book. I love the whole Elite stories, the Mafia, the bosses, The Families it's brilliant. This is Chase and mil's story. In the last book Mil gave Chase a proposition, she told him she needed him to marry her. In this book, it starts with Chase and Mil's wedding. Mil needs Chase's protection and money because she is going to be the new boss of the family because Phoenix is dead and she is next in line in the De Lange family, a woman. The family had no money so the arrangement is for Mil to marry Chase for one year for protection and his millions.Mil and Chase have history, its complicated history and they don't like each other. Their families are surpassed to hate each other but they can't help the attraction they have for one another. Chase is loyal and he has vowed to protect Mil and he will do just that. Chase is still getting over his heartbreak from Trace. Chase and Trace get closer with the death of Nixon, but then came back after he faked his death. Of course this is the mafia and nothing goes according to plan. Chase has to prove his loyalty to Mil on his wedding night when they are attacked because her family has put a hit out on her because she is now the boss and a woman, the first woman to be boss. Mil is hiding secrets from her past, about her father, what he was doing in secret behind the other families back. Phoenix tried to protect her but Mil got sucked into the life of the mafia when he died.I can't really say much more as I don't want to give away spoilers. This is a great book, it's written in alternative POV's between Mil and Chase but there are sometimes POV's from the other characters and I liked that because not only do you see things there way but you get to know them better so when the next book is read you know more about them. The only annoying aspect about this book is for me Trace wined a lot. She is surpassed to be the Bosses woman and to me she did nothing but wine and complain, I know she was still getting over Nixon coming back for the dead but for me she was a little too much, This is the only negative in this book for me, but other then that it's a fantastic book. I don't think this book can be read as a standalone because you will not know what's going on and to get the while experience you need to read the other books. I loved this book and I can not wait to read the rest of the books in this series I highly recommend this series to anyone. There is swearing in this book(it's the Mafia) but its mild words and I love how you read about the other families and know which ones are bad and each of the original Elite is a boss. It's just brilliant. I can't get enough.

Another brilliant instalment to the series The Mafia world is never a dull one!
After finishing "Elect (Eagle Elicit #2)", I couldn't wait to get stuck into this book. With the way book two of the series ended, I knew that this one was going to be mainly focused on Chase and Mil and knowing this couple, I was going to get one hell of an interesting read and I was not disappointed. Rachel has once again delivered a story that was full of nail biting suspense, edge of the seat drama, and a whole lot of violence. There was even time for some swoonworthy romance. The mafia world is never a dull one!The story began with yet another heart stopping prologue that almost made me tear through the pages until I knew just what it had all meant! I was then transported back to the present day. Chase had been propositioned by Mil and just as I expected, he had agreed to the proposition. Despite his feelings for Trace, it was time for Chase to move on and accepting Mil's proposal gave him the encouragement to do just that. I was keen to find out the reasons behind Mil and Chase's arrangement and I was sure that I would most probably discover even more secrets along the way.Mil had always come across as such a feisty, hot headed girl. The type of girl that you wouldn't want to pick a fight with. however I soon discovered the truth behind this tough girls attitude and I was surprised by what I was reading. Mil was frightened and scared for what her future held. She was also a girl who had had her heartbroken with no hope of it ever being repaired. I felt truly sorry for her and I had a new found admiration for how she was living her life with so many demons surrounding her. I was so pleased that Mil now had Chase by her side. I knew that he would never fail her.I had fallen in love with Chase in the previous books of the series. I'm sure that most readers did. Chase was a strong, loyal guy with a heart of gold. He was a good man, no wonder that Mil had chosen him to be the guy to help her in her time of need. Chase was more than capable to save the day, the only thing I was concerned about was how he was recovering from what had previously gone on with Trace and if that was going to affect his relationship with Mil. Having now read the story, I realise that I had nothing to worry about. Chase took his new role very seriously. He was committed to Mil, body and soul and it wasn't long before his heart played apart in their new relationship, too. Maybe accepting Mil's proposition was the best thing Chase had ever done.As usual, with this series, the story wasn't just about Mil and Chase. The author had given a lot of the characters their own chapters, written from their own POV. So not only did I get the chance to catch up with Trace and Nixon but I also had the opportunity to discover what was going on in some of the other characters heads and the parts that they were playing in the story. I found that this really helped me understand what was going on and it also helped me connect with the characters. One of the characters that took me by surprise was Tex. Tex had always appeared to be a bit of joker and a playboy. Never taking life too seriously, despite the dangerous lifestyle that he was a part of. Now I have an extremely different view of Tex. His story was one that pulled at my heart strings. The next book in the series is all about Tex, so I am looking forward to uncovering more about his secretive life.
