Great hot pot! I like that this one has several settings, making it more versatile. Others have only a couple of settings. (The high setting, like on a stove, should be used only to boiling, then turn to low to simmer. Don't leave unattended on high setting.) There's a setting for keeping contents warm over time too. Cleaning the nonstick pot is easy. Just put the water in the pot with dish soap and swish with soft sponge or soft dish cloth. Don't immerse the pot in water (will ruin the plug-in port). Then empty and rinse inside with clear water. Dry with soft dish towel. The steamer basket and lids are immersible. Always unplug from outlet and remove cord from pot after use and before washing.

Have only cooked my rice in so far. The size is perfect for my household of two. Cooks great, imagine making soups would be just as good.

We use this pot for soup, using the 40-min low heat setting. The higher temp tends to scorch food. I wish the liner were removable for easier cleaning.

My mom lives by herself, kept burning her foods on the stove and lost motivation to cook. She's thrilled to have her independence to cook again with this cooker; cooking bacon and ramen noddles, making pancake, steaming dumplings, reheating her leftovers. The auto keep warm is a great function in case she forgets. The cooker is also light weight for her, but to prevent it from slipping off the counter, I set it on a tray with silicon/rubber under tray; still looks great on her counter. This cooker is a win win for my mom and I so she can continue to live independently!

The pot is quite small and weights less than two pounds. Very good for travel and apartments without a kitchen.The pot can cook 2 servings of rice, soup, or even have one to two person eating hot pot together.

Pros: Easy to use. Easy to clean. Quick. Light. Small/doesn't take up much space.Cons: Boils over at first, until the water simmers down. I had to babysit it, put it in a deep pan and kept having to open it and blow on it to keep it from overflowing. Burns the rice slightly on the bottom each time. Since it only has one rice setting, there is no way to lower the cook time. Besides, I wouldn't want to, as the rice is just barely soft enough on the current setting. I've even tried putting in a bit more water for softer rice. I haven't found a level that works yet either. I may in time, since I've only used it three times.Once the liquid simmers down a bit, then I can leave it.I use it to make rice for my dog with pancreatitis. It's an every other day thing, so I wanted something simple. This moderately foots that bill. I plan to keep it, but it doesn't check all the boxes.

Need a personal pot for traveling, and was very frustrated with those sticky stainless pots. Until I found this non-toxic non-stick pot, what a perfect pot that exceeds my needs.Its best feature for our busy lives that can’t be found on any other brands is:I don’t need to worry about the cooking, my food won’t be burnt by the non-stick pot, “warming” will take place after cooking completed, then the pot will be automatically turned off if overburnt or dry, a very nice and safety feature

UPDATE:It stopped working after three months. Sending this back_________________Bought this on a whim. Was really looking for a portable hotpot cooker so that I can eat hotpot when i'm on the go. This actually had more use than I thought. The top contains a steamer which I'm able to steam my baos in the morning with, vs taking the entire wok out and such. Also, was able to heat up small hotpot so that when i was in the middle of Kansas with no asian supermarkets around, i could eat hotpot and heat my ramen up. Totally worth the money spent. Easy to clean and portable.
