These are indeed 5 steel Morgan replicas that stick very well to magnets. In that sense they are a real price-performer compared to other replica Morgans. However, they arrived covered in crud, and not in a "tarnished/darkened/aged" way. It appears that some of the chrome may have rubbed off on some coins.As stated in the text, they are NOT "soft" -- so you'll need to take that into consideration in your routines. They do make a nice solid 'clink' together. From a distance (stage, maybe even parlour) they're probably fine, but you'll need to be careful in close-up.UPDATE:They clean up OK with basic metal polishes; not great but serviceable. (I tried both Brasso and Flitz.) Some still have a yellow/orange tinge around the edges, but it's only visible close up in bright light. I'll definitely use them in appropriate circumstances, and would recommend them to other magicians.I bumped this review from 3 stars to 4 because the original crud mostly came off, but the seller should have done this themselves.Some reviewers have said they are "too big". In reality they are *exactly* the same diameter as real Morgan or other older dollar coins (Peace or Eisenhower). The weight is close but a bit light and they are just a hint thicker. If they seem too big, go to your local bank and ask for Kennedy Half Dollars for 50 cents each... :)

This order came much faster than advertised. To be honest I wasn't expecting much from these coins, but I was very pleasantly surprised. They weigh slightly less than an actual silver dollar, but I don't think a layman would notice the difference if you're using then for magic tricks. As for looks, I can't tell the difference between them and my real ones. There are no copy stamps. Don't seem to be any flaws at all. They make the same sound as real ones. They are attracted to magnets, so there are quire a few tricks you can do with that. Time will tell if they tarnish, but now they look great. I'll probably buy more.

Came in dirty/sticky, I had to clean em myself and they STILL have some residue. Other than that they're magnetic and solid, which is good. A little too big for my hands to do some tricks but I'm a Magician I can make it work.

When I received the coins they looked beautiful .I'm a magician. I do a lot of coin sleight of hand and these coins started off being great but now they're starting to tarnish and rust so I'm going to say no "not a good idea if you let are a magician" looking to use these coins but if you're just going to put them into a sealed plastic container of some kind to preserve them and you're a coin collector ..I'm sure they'll work just fine.
