Great item easy to use and instal.
The cac card reader was everything that is says it is. It functions and is easy to use. The only draw back that they dont mention is after you install the driver you have to go threw and downlaod another program to install the certificates that you need in order to use this on any of the sites you are trying to access. So for me I am military and use it for my pay, classes, etc. So have to download all the dod certificates and install them into all the internet programs i use such as Firefox internet explorer etc. Its was no big deal and if you have already done that and just need a new cac reader because yours is bad or wont work then its great. But as is the item is perfect amd i had no issues what so ever installing or using it.

Does not work for DOD Access
This CAC reader does not work with several DOD systems and when I googled the name, articles came up that mentioned malware inside of it. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Must use ActiveClient 7.1 with Windows 10
I wanted a reliable DOD Cac reader for my home PC that runs Windows 10. The SAICOO was recommended by Military Cac, so I purchased it. When I installed it initially (using drivers provided on mini CD) with ActiveClient 6.0, it read my certs, but did not display them in Active Client, instead returning the error: "Your card does not comply with any of the known profiles". But when I uninstalled version 6 and installed version 7.1, the profile was recognized and certs can be seen within ActiveClient 7.1. So the SAICOO reader works well in Windows 10, when you use ActiveClient version 7.1 and NOT version 6.0.
