DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!
I tried this blend as my substrate in the cultivation of medicinal mushrooms. The first 5lbs I used I was overtaken with contamination. I somehow rest the burden on myself, maybe I wasn't sterile enough. So I take 3lbs. of spawn and applied it to another 5lbs. of this stuff making sure I dotted my I's and crossed all my T's. The exact same issue showed itself again. I am leaning heavily towards this product being the problem. The packaging sure is nice though.
