I needed to replace my seat belt on my Drive wheelchair. The buckle release jammed after just 7 weeks of use. In the spirit of safety I ordered this version and for the price it was a great value. Much better construction than the original seat belt that came with my brand new chair. The best part is the install....4 minutes and a screwdriver to remove the broken original and install this one. EZ PZ.

Added the seatbelt to a Medline Reclining Wheelchair that did not come with a seatbelt. The seatbelt is attached by putting the grommet under the rear screw of the wheelchair seat. This position and style worked for us. We compared this seatbelt to others that use different attachment methods (our wheelchair does have screws for the seat and does not have alternate seatbelt attachment points). Also, we preferred seat attachment for positioning rather than the back of the wheelchair which is another alternative. The 45" seatbelt is plenty long for an 18" wide seat, going over a Comfort brand saddle cushion, and around a 130 pound patient.

Was replacing the all plastic belt clamp that broke. This is much easier to use and sturdier. It should be the one that comes with the original chair!

I purchased the wheelchair and padded seating from DRIVE and my only dilemma with their seat belt, is that the part you press to unbuckle it is way too short, SAFER on the side, yes, but I have to put some effort into finding that end when my client is in their chair to buckle them in.

Was very easy to install. My mom no longer has to worry that she might fall out of the wheel chair. If your wheel chair does not have a seat belt that is working. Please replace.

We were using a gait belt to fasten my father into the wheelchair and wanted something more comfortable and convenient. We ordered the Velcro fastening one. It’s a skinny ribbon—thinner than the gait belt. It comes in a tiny box. It was overpriced for what it is. Wanted to return for something else but it can’t be returned but eventually Amazon refunded the purchase and I’ll take it to goodwill
