Barb insertion is much easier with this tool.
Insering irrigation barbs into drip hose can be difficult, esprcially with a hand weakness condition. This too makes the insertion process almost effortless. Some barb configurations may not be possible but the tool is worth the investment. A brief instruction sheet for this tool would be helpful.

Bad design
This design is not very helpful. You can only insert a hose onto one side of a straight barbed fitting. There arenāt a whole lot of options out there as far as drip irrigation tools, but thereās a MUCH better option out there that is useful for more applications. Also, when I used this it cut my 1/4ā hose up, leaving it leaking. I am returning this item.

Good purchase
My most recent project is the first time I've tried a tool like this. It was very helpful for connecting the tubing to barb extenders as well as connecting tubing to the emitters. I had to fix about 50 drip emitters so this saved time and my fingers. It doesn't work connecting the tubing to tees and I wish there was a similar product for that.

Saves your fingers.
These fingers don't have the strength they once had, and getting the barbed fittings into the 1/4" tubing can be difficult. This clip gun makes the job a dream. Now they need to come up with a tool to make inserting the barbed fitting into the 1/2" drip line as easy.Punching the hole in the 1/2" line is easy, getting the barbed fitting in can really be difficult. What is neededis a tool that will hold the /12" poly line securely and push the barb in WITHOUT collapsing the 1/2" tubing.DIG Corporation, I know you can do it.

Handy Tool
We are glad we had this while putting together our drip tubing, it made the project go much smoother. We saw this tool on a garden show and took their advice, glad we did.
