Review: I really like this book. Each page has one short reading for the day, and they’re quick enough to fit in with everything else going on but still thoughtful. The messages are a mix of parenting reminders, real-life perspective and simple advice that feels grounding instead of preachy. Even though I’m not a dad, I still find the reflections really helpful and relatable. Most of them apply to any parent who wants to slow down and be more present. The writing is easy to read and the stories feel real and honest. I like reading it in the morning before the day gets busy or at night when things finally quiet down. It’s the kind of book you can pick up whenever and still get something out of it. The quality of the book is nice too. The layout is clean, the pages feel sturdy and it looks good sitting out on a nightstand or table. It would make a thoughtful gift for new parents or anyone who likes short daily readings. Overall, it’s a comforting and grounding book that’s easy to stay consistent with, and it adds something small but meaningful to each day. Review: Excelente!!!

Some books are read and forgotten and there are some books that are to be read and digested. 'The Daily Dad' is one of those rare books that fall under the latter category. A lot of people have kids but not all are able to become parents. When you give birth to a child, you become a mom or a sad and for most of us it ends there. You may all the right intentions for your child but by just providing basic necessities is not being a parent. I've witnessed parents forwarding unnecessary messages and reels on WhatsApp but not investing time to seek resources on learning how to become an ideal Mom or an ideal Dad. It's easy to blame the education system, it's easy to blame the society, it's easy to blame the social media for corrupting the child's mind. But it's tough to stand up and take responsibility as a dad for the right upbringing of your child. You cannot stop your child from engaging with content on social media, but you sure can raise them to become responsible towards what they choose to watch on social media. Most parents think that after getting their child admitted in school and by paying the school fees their responsibility is over. Now it's the school's responsibility to teach their child. They get busy with their own lives and the child gets busy with his own life. While schools play an important role in the development of a child, it's the right parenting that provides the strong foundation on which a child builds his life. That's why this book is a must have for every parent or to be parent or anybody whose job involves interacting with kids. This book - The Daily Dad - brings to you 366 very short chapters that will open up your perspective towards the role you can play in your child's upbringing. Packed with daily reminders, approaches to situations, mindsets, and actionable, this book will handhold you in your journey to create an impact on your child raising him to be ready to face the world. The chapter starts from January, 1 and ends at December, 31. Each day you get to read a new idea, a story from the lives of successful parents that you can adapt to as you play dad to your little ones. Don't try to read the book like any other non fiction books. Read it one chapter at a time. Whichever month of the year you have bought the book, just start from the chapter corresponding to your present date and month. You need not start from January. Alternately, you can also randomly open any page and read that chapter. Each chapter is complete in itself. If you want to maximize the learning, just create actionable that you can follow based on the chapter you have read. Do that actionable and see what results you get. Don't put pressure on yourself to read a page everyday. Finishing off the book should not be your goal with this book. What is important is making the teachings work for you. It is said that in order to teach a child first you have to learn from the child. Be actively involved in the lives of your children. Learn from them to guide them, to help them realise their potential. Parenting doesn't happen automatically, be a responsible dad. And let this book be your guide in this journey.

Ryan Holiday’s books are amazing. He sends a daily email (when signing up) with the same messages but always wonderful to have something to hold and refer to. Nothing beats a physical book.

Bought this for my husband who is a fan of stoicism. He reads one chapter per day and just loves it. He loves to share his learnings with me. He plans to read it every day, year after year. This is one of his favourite books ever.
