Rooted Boston Fern Compacta, Nephrolepis Exaltata Bostoniensis Compacta, Live Indoor, Home Decor, Easy to Grow, Easy to Care, and Low Maintenance Houseplant (6")

First, let me just say this seller packages theirbplants exceptionally well! This plant arrived during a very cold snap in the most northern part of Michigan. The plant arrived in excellent condition, very green, healthy, and just beautiful!Like most home in winter, my place can be pretty dry. Boston ferns prefer around 50% humidity. My place, at best, gets to 35%-40% humidity. The best place for this fern would be im a bathroom with a window, and indirect light. My bathroom has no window. So.. i put it in my bedroom, and mist it generously twice in the early part of the day. This gives it time to do its thing and then to transpire in the evening. It seems to be working well. There were a few days when i was not home to mist it, so it got a little dry on the tips, but it is coming back beautifully. In fact, I have already had to transplant it into a bigger pot, and there are teensy baby fronds coming up. I now have it grouped with a bird nest fern, spider plant, money tree, and 30 airplants in my livingroom which is around 4% more humid than my bedroom due to all of the greenery. This Boston Fern Compacta is truly a great addition to my little indoor jungle!

Great plant

The fern arrived in excellent condition. Fronds and soil were moist. Because it’s still chilly in WI I was very pleased to see that the company attached a heat pack to the pot that it came in and that there was an insulation wrap around the plant. I bought it as a decoration for my tortoise’s enclosure and it’s the perfect size. Very, very happy with this purchase!

Plant arrived looking scraggly. Definitely overpriced for what it is. Disappointing.

Was dead in arrival but they get four stars because all other plants I've received from them were excellent

I couldn't figure out why it kept dying, the entire root system was wrapped in plastic! Nothing on the seller page indicated this, nor did the plants accompanying paperwork. Do better.
