Worked for me on an older 80s bike.
This headlight worked in my 80s Honda trike that has a battery but was wired through the stock harness. While I did have to wire it to “always on” that was a choice but the DRL is on a switch so I can flash it at people. I have had other headlights just not work or even blow up on these older bikes with the “dirty” voltage issues.

Junk
Fell apart after the first ride, the bulb doesn't even come on anymore. It lasted 2 hours, save your money.

Great headlights
I have a minibike and these were pretty easy to put on. I suggest buying a switch with at least 2 on positions, preferably 3 on positions, it does require some wiring knowledge because there’s no instructions. I only had a switch with 2 on positions so I wired it to where the low beams and daylight are on at the same time. The mounts were a little too big so I had to put a rubber padding around the bars to make them fit.Very bright lights.Only needed a little 12 v battery to power

Screws strip easy
Works good looks good the screws that hold the light ring on strip very easy will have to fix that but other than that I like it fit were the old one was.

Nice looking but some issues
The nice thing about this light is that it’s bright, small, and it has a metal shell. I installed this on a 2000 SV650. I thought it would be an easy swap but it wasn’t given that on this bike you have 6lbs of wiring to fit into the 2lb box that is the headlamp. It works, just takes some extra effort.A few issues though, 1) the circuit board is completely exposed! The leads for all the wires were easy to snap off on accident so I had to re-sauter them back onto the board. 2) the bottom screws aren’t sturdy imho 3) the “top” label is not the top dead center and i had to rotate the light in the bezel; the light is held in with some clips so i had to pop those off and rotate to align then reassemble. 4) i had to cut the leads and redo them so it would slot right into the oem harness. 5) the support bolts are just standard grade you’d find at home depot … it’s too bad they didn’t use a nicely polished rounded bolt.Aside from all the troubles it does look nice but I question having the circuit board exposed. We’ll see how long it lasts.I’d probably opt for a higher quality one next time around.

Bright! Stylish
Good replacement light. I wired it for 1 setting on my ebike and its on high beam and daytime running light. Cant hurt to be seen too much on a small quiet ebike.

It’s bright!
The media could not be loaded. Put in on my mini bike for late rides and have a dewalt battery for the power source and it works great! I have all the leads running to one switch so they all turn on and it’s very bright, and for the price can’t beat that happy with the purchase would recommend

Very cheap and dim
This headlight is everything but bright. My stock lamp was 10 times brighter, my low beam is horrible I can't see more then a foot in front of me and the high beam is the exact same brightness as low. I was happy with it anyways because we'll it looks cool!! But 6 months into owning it the paint is faded, the seals are gone so water poors in and my attachment bolts plus the bracket are already rusted!! I would highly recommend you don't buy this...Yes it's cheap and looks cool but the quality is not there. Hope this helps others.
