how much Sulforaphane is produced per 1g serving?

BROC SPROUT 2 is a whole broccoli sprout capsule that will deliver not less than 15mg of Sulforaphane per 1gram serving.  Our capsules cannot be compared with broccoli seed or sprout ‘extracts’ which have had the essential myrosinase enzyme inactivated during processing. Without the myrosinase enzyme, sulforaphane yield from these products themselves will be ZERO. 
 
Such products typically claim to contain ‘sulforaphane glucosinolate’, usually 30 mg per capsule.  ‘Sulforaphane glucosinolate’ is just a marketing term for ‘glucoraphanin’, which on its own cannot produce sulforaphane.
 
When such products list 30 mg ‘sulforaphane glucosinolate’, this cannot be compared with BROC SPROUT 2 capsules which retain the myrosinase enzyme needed to produce the 15mg sulforaphane when you swallow it.

Question 2

So Broc Sprout 2 actually contains the myrosinase enzyme?  I thought the enzyme had to be removed before putting into tablets.  Isn’t that the unusual

Yes, BROC SPROUT 2 does contain the Myrosinase enzyme. BROC SPROUT 2 capsules contain the two essential components necessary for the production of Sulforaphane: the vital Myrosinase enzyme and the Glucoraphanin compound

Sulforaphane can only be generated when the Myrosinase enzyme and the Glucoraphanin compound are combined together in the presence of saliva or water. Once Sulforaphane is generated it only lasts a matter of minutes, this is why our capsules are so potent and convenient!

To answer the second part of your question:
There is a vast amount of false and misleading information in the marketplace regarding the ability of products to generate Sulforaphane. Many broccoli sprout supplements are 'extracts' as may be referred to in your question, not whole sprout products like BROC SPROUT 2. For a product to be capable of producing Sulforaphane when consumed, it must contain both the Myrosinase enzyme and the Glucoraphanin compound. To produce an ‘extract’ manufacturers have to destroy the essential Myrosinase enzyme, as a result the 'extract' contains only the glucoraphanin compound. Extracts are inert (chemically inactive) and alone cannot produce Sulforaphane because the essential Myrosinase enzyme was destroyed in the process of making the extract.

Also, be aware of products stating they contain: Sulforaphane Glucosinolate? This is just another name for Glucoraphanin and very misleading!
