I love this product! It rotates pleasant colors as it gives off a soft scented mist .You can use oil drops for different scents. Just the right size and very easy to use. Makes a great gift. I've purchased three of these and absolutely love them. Nice conversation piece.

I've had many oil diffusers in the past. So far I haven't found one that outperforms the Homedics one I had 20 years ago and unfortunately they don't make that one anymore, so... This one was a gift (I'm reviewing it on the person's account who got it for me instead of trying to figure out how to do the review on my own account where it was not purchased). I have to say this one was very convenient to physically set up, as in, fill with oil, turn on, set the lights, etc... but not the most convenient as far as being portable. I agree with another reviewer that I did not like at all where the power cord went into the unit. (A rechargeable option would be fantastic! No cords!)Opening up is easy, filling it is easy... but wait! Don't go over that line in the cup! And that can happen very easily if you have your attention called away for just a split second. There is a warning that comes with the device to not get liquid inside the unit if you overfill the cup because you could damage the whole thing... of course this happened to me and I was worried all night that I broke it within days of getting it, but fortunately it is ok. I dried it thoroughly as well as I could and left it to sit overnight upside down to drain anything that might have gotten inside. Turned it on the next day, and it was fine.Also, watch what oils you put into it. I didn't realize one of my oils (not an essential oil but it was made specifically for diffusers... I just didn't realize it was made back in the day of the candle diffusers so there were no mechanical parts for this to get into)... one scent oil I have gets very thick when it gets to the bottom and almost completely clogged the very bottom of the unit, inside the cup where the liquid goes. There is a tiny hole there that I assume the air comes up to diffuse the liquid? Anyway, I had to clean that out with a Q tip... not using that oil in this machine again!I'm not crazy about the plastic that was used in the construction of it either... beware of what oils you use and don't use any that could stain the unit!All in all this diffuser was a very easy to figure out and the three different options for lights was very nice (Off, Steady Light, Changing Lights), and the diffusing process is very effective and the room smelled very nice! It's powerful enough for quite a large room too. My advice would be to only use essential oils in it, not perfume type oils that were made for candle diffusers. I would also suggest making sure it's completely dry in between uses.I'm very happy with this unit, especially because it was very forgiving of my mistakes in learning what this unit could and could not handle... it's still operating normally and going strong. I do wonder how long the lights will last before they burn out... that could change my opinion of it, but I will update my review if anything happens to the lights.Also, I absolutely *love* the timer feature. I often fall asleep when things are going on and with your traditional incense or the candle diffusers, things would just go off when they burned out, no electricity involved. I was a bit worried about an electrical unit running dry and damaging the unit, but fortunately this won't happen with this one. I have fallen asleep to the changing lights several times.

I have used this brand before and was replacing my old diffuser. I didn’t care for this design as the plug for the cord was underneath the diffuser. As I store my oils in a different part of the house, I had to bring the water and oils to the device. Also the light for the on switch is very bright. My husband didn’t care for it during the night. We since got a different one.

Scent spreads throughout. Will be buying another one.

I love this product. My teenage sons room smells good and I don’t need to worry about him not turning it off because it has an automatic timer. My son has asthma so using this natural approach to a nice smelling room is the best!!! Thank you!

Timer won’t work water comes out bottom. I don’t have the box or I would send it back.It is Trash! Bought last week.My other one lasted 4 years.

This is a nice unit EXCEPT, the moisture doesnt blow hard enough so any surface you put it on gets soaked with moisture. Therefore, it doesn't work well in my bedroom on my wood furniture table. I'm very disappointed.
