It is definitely *heavy* duty compared to my regular cotton woven leash. I have a 63 some lb greyhound who doesn't pull on the leash or chew the leash, so I can't speak to that from experience but the leash certainly feels reinforced enough that it would withstand a little chewing and some pulling. I only think it is a little too heavy for my taste, especially when my Greyhound's neck and small head seem to have a hard time bearing the weight. I wouldn't buy this for a light weight dog or older dog who would have a hard time holding the weight but it would do well for a rambunctious or heavier dog.

It’s really thick and heavy. I bought it for my pup but it was too heavy. It feels sturdy. Leaving it to the side until my dog gets older. It’s not for small dogs. Definitely made for bigger standard size dogs.

The priceThere are so many leashes to buy on here, but I thought it was a good buy (and it narrowed it down) since it came with the portable tray. When I received it I was impressed on the quality of the leash and the presentation it was delivered in (very nice packaging). It is very sturdy and until this day I think the same. I bought it about a month ago and I definitely enjoy the length of the leash as well. Although I wanted more color choices, I did not mind the colors since the price was reasonable.

This is hands down, the best leash we've ever had for any of our pups. The quality is phenomenal. I LOVE the padded hand loop, and the D-ring for the poop bags and keys is so convenient (rather than trying to hook them onto the hand loop.) The reflective stitching is GREAT for nighttime walks too. Plus, you cannot beat the price! I bought this because we needed a longer leash and I figured that even if the quality wasn't great, the price wasn't bad- little did I know we were ordering the best leash ever!! I'm a customer for life now!!

My dog is 68ibs which I use to walk around the block as I don't think it would be for a long walk if your dog pulls durability wise. I will order a second one for more durability for big strong dogs. The material is great for airflow and light weight.

Extremely sturdy and durable against my 7 month 65lb Rottie. Took her out for our evening walk around the pond and it was easier to handle her with this leash since it has what feels like memory foam padding on the handle. So when she tugged, it didn’t hurt and instead enabled me to control her a better on our walks. I use to take her shorter walk with her previous leash because it her but since using this one, we’ve gone on longer walker now. Bonus, this set came with a collapsible bowl so that came in handy as well.

Amazing leash. My almost 6 month old pup is already half my size and I've struggled with him on walks, this new leash has helped a lot. I love the padded handle. I love this leash, I hope it last. It seems to be made of a good quality material. If I need a replacement in the future I will buy this again!

The leash lives up to the level of quality of the coupler. It's well constructed. The reflective thread is very bright under flashlights and headlights. The materials and stitching appear like they will hold up and stand the test of my mongrels (a 25 pound Pomsky and a 65 pound Golden Retriever). For the price, I would definitely buy another. The cushioning on the handle/loop is also very comfortable.
