This Light seems to be well made. It wasn't too hard to install but I learn some tricks that I thought I would pass on.1. Its better to have a magnetic phillps screwdriver when putting the screws back in when working on a ladder.2. You might want to glue in the seal down before you attempt a ladder install. The bottom of the seal won't stay in place and drops down. I ended up using blue painters tape to get it to stay in postion when putting on the clear lense cover, then just pulled the tape off.3. The knock-outs took a good wack to punch them out.Other than that its a decent LED light. I like the panel that hides the wires connections, plenty of room inside to make connections. The light had a bigger footprint than others I've used in the past. The light casts more of a slight downward projection illuminating the wall as well at shining out front of it.

This is a nicely made unit with a thick plastic lens and a cast (instead of beer can) back plate for mounting. From there things go down a bit, excepting its performance. All light is directed thru the lens. I used it for my porch light and it broadcasts light similar to my halogen security lamps, but at a fraction of the power use. It stays on all night so might disturb the neighbors across the street. It's bright enough to make for safe walking along the length of my garage enough (dim) light in the driveway to find items in the car.Instructions: First remove the lens (4 #1 phillips screws, not 2) then the back back lens plate (two #2 phillips screws). Two screwdrivers required. Next knock out the proper plugs. 2 problems here. Hope that your box is mounted with screws exactly up/down or side-to-side. Also, like many of these products, the 2 3/4 inch (7cm) standard spacing for boxes doesn't have a knock so you'll need to knock out the slot and drill your own hole.Other than that all goes moderately well. It's attractive in a 90's look and should hold up well. The Chinese have excellent engineers so I don't understand why so few of their light products are to American mounting standards, but that's the way of so many light options these days. At least this product has enough heft to allow for drilling proper mounts and it seals very well to the wall.Between this light, and the 2 10W motion detection lights, my walkway lights up as bright as most kitchens.

So far I am satisfied with the light. The directions and let me be blunt, suck. Remove 2 screws, there are 4. Slide reflector to keyhole to remove. What keyhole? To remove knockouts on the back of the light, get a good punch and a hammer.

It is pretty bright and works well behind my barn so we can see skunks when walking our dog after dark. This light would really work best if it were mounted a bit more overhead than I have it mounted. But it does the job. It is intended to be mounted on a standard lighting box so it would work well beside a door. However it can be mounted flush on a barn or shed the way I did it.

This is a great light. Works better than expected and half the price of any local store in our area. I'm pretty sure the lumes are under reported on this product.

Easy install and super bright. Rubber seal isn't glued to housing too well so just put a dab of glue on it so you can install lense after completion. If you're like me and had to flip on lights every night, now just flip on house switch and leave it. Sensor is as advertised. Recommend this buy.
