Excellent product but, the bare bones product doesn’t pull all the tv and movie channels. You have to have the jailbroken application installed for it to work.

The very first thing after signing into Google Play Store is to change the home screen , called a launcher, to provide open space for installing a widget, screen display of 5 days of weather a favorite, as well as allow for easy app placement and removal on the home screen. My choice has always been "Rootless Pixel Launcher" downloaded from Google Play Store. This streamer would not allow the home screen to be changed. Therefore this device was totally unacceptable for my intended purposes, a worthless dud. The problem is in an underdeveloped or defective firmware (internally installed operating program). To date have been unable to find a better performer that the X96 Max Android 8.1 Android TV Box (no other X96 models included). Suggest avoiding the device being reviewed and considering the X96 Max Android 8.1 unit if you are serious about Android Streaming and features of these devices.

Powerful box it's just emulating the pixel phone running a version of Android TV so some of the features are hard to navigate and video streaming apps don't all work right if at all

A bit challenging to set up initially but overall is good perfromance once set up and seamless streaming. I dont have a source to test 4K quality but turst it would be fine for my use.

Best device... the sky's the limit with the amount of things you can do with an Android box!

The only issue I had with this device was adding it to my Wifi. But it's not the only one with that issue. I guess some of them don't accept the security protocols on the Wifi.

Lento por decir lo menosNo sirve, se traba, no estan en la play store aplicaciones importantes que no puedo decir porque me bloquean, play store México. Muy dificil navegar. Ya dentro de la aplicacion de video stremen tarda mucho en cargar y lo mas importante por lo que lo compre es porque tiene salida optica y no manda sonido... Definitivamente como comentas otros no cumple lo que promete, lastima de especiicaciones tan buenas.

En general tiene buena pinta, tengo una tv 4k, su imagen es buena en 4k, aunque las especificaciones dicen que transmite en 4k y 6k, no tengo una pantalla de 6k, pero en 4k se ve muy bien, en sonido e imagen mejora a otros mas baratos, el único pero es que su antena de wifi no tiene mucha potencia, como que le faltó calidad, ya que tengo otros aparatos conectados y ninguno me da problemas con internet, son aproximadamente 10 metros sin paredes de distancia del modem al aparato, como que si le cuesta alcanzar la señal, y cuando quiero ver videos en 4k, tarda demasiado cargando los datos, mi TV está a la misma distancia y no tiene problema para cargar ese tipo de videos, así es que por esa razón opino que la calidad de la antena del aparato es de baja calidad, en fin, lo conectaré con cable de ethernet para solucionar ese problema, saludos...
