Spacious, nice colour but loose a large pocket if you have a foam mattress attached
Good colour, plenty of space for a weeks worth of clothing. Lots of pockets but the front pocket at the bottom can not be used if you have a roll up foam mattress to be attached as those straps are lot long enough to go round the mattress which is a shame as it’s a large one. Main zip on the bag can be a little fiddly as it can get caught in the lining, not a big deal but can be frustrating.nice colour as it makes the wearer stand out. I think it’s good value for the money. Child said it was comfortable on his back even when fully loaded. Quality looks good apart from the lining interrupting the zipper. Folds up well to keep it stored until it’s needed again.

Sturdy lightweight rucksack
A good light weight yet sturdy rucksack. We used these for inter-railing around Italy and they were perfect. Lots of useful straps to tighten up and compress your pack. Zips are strong and easy to use, pockets and compartments are useful for things like your water bottle to make it easy to access. They hold a lot and are durable. Can’t fault them. We bought two, one each.

Bag is much smaller than advertised
The bag wasn't 50L, it was much smaller. I have a 35L bag that is bigger than the bag I reveived. The quality of the bag was ok but the advertised size is way off.

Cheap and cheerful
Bought this for my sons school camping trip, bag is very large perfect to fit everything in plenty of pockets and places to attached till may and sleeping bag, my only issue are the clips they aren’t the best quality but for the price I can’t moan to much, happy with my purchase

A great daypack and an ok multiday pack
bought 2 of these, 1 for my 2-7 day hikes, 1 for my daughters cadets trips, they are good little packs that served me well even when overloaded. used mine with around 15-20kg of stuff in and after maybe a total of 300 miles&and many unpacks and packs it started to fall apart, the seams where the shoulder straps were the first bit to start to rip, sowed them back together and ive had no full on backpack failure, the side pockets arnt great the top part of the mesh starts to frey after inserting and removing bottles etc, the straps at first tend to loosen themselves but over time they become a lot more stiffer, some might want to replace the H clips with aftermarket ones. the straps at the bottom for a sleeping matt are quite short, i would have loved to have had my sleeping matt and sitting matt together there but the straps wernt long enough. it has a bladder pouch but no connector at the top inside to stop it slipping. its hard to connect a tent to the top, theres no straps for it but its easy with a few caribinars and some tension straps. the shoulder straps arnt great, theyre fine if you are only carrying water and some food etc but not for a full sleep system and tent, I really rate this backpack but i think its better suited to someone that does dayhikes and likes to take a cooker for a cuppa. it served me well

Needed something quick for a 5 day excursion/hike. This bag worked great and was comfortable enough for about 10+ miles a day. Does not have a water reservoir hole for straw access, but that wasn’t too much of a bother. Held all of my clothes and gear just fine, no issues with material or wear, but cannot speak on how it holds up long term. Would recommend anyone needing a no-frills bag for about a 5 day trek/trip.

I wanted to make sure that I tested this out throughly before posting a review; with products like this, sometimes (actually… usually!) quality issues don’t become apparent until you use it a bit. Now that I have used it for well over a month now (and worn it for well over 60 miles of hiking through the Massachusetts mountains), I can confidently say that this is easily the best rucksack/backpack that I’ve ever purchased for under $30. The space is ample and, just as importantly, logically placed around the pack. The shoulder straps have eyelets that let me easily and securely place my hydration hose over the shoulder straps, and it never moves or goes out of place, making the hose always there when I need it. There is a pouch in the main compartment where I keep the bladder, and although it wasn’t made for it (at least I don’t think so, but I could be wrong) my full 2L reservoir fits inside perfectly. I’ve attached a photo just to show how easily the hose weaves through the strap, and how well the reservoir/bladder sits inside, but obviously the hose and bladder are not included. And again, for clarity, this is using a standard 2 liter bladder with a detachable hose. In short, yes, it is hydration reservoir/bladder and hose friendly— which is super important to many of us on the trail! And again: the hydration system is NOT part of the bag and is not included, I’m just illustrating how well it fits the most common designs. How is it for overnight trips? I can’t speak for that— yet. There are two bottom straps that easily fit a bedroll, and the main compartment can easily fit a small tent or hammock; they’d also likely fit just fine on the side straps, too, but again, I haven’t taken it overnight (yet), but will update this review when I do. There would still be ample room for your supplies, though to be fair I do not see this as being well suited for trips out in the back country that are planned to be over 1-2 nights, though that all depends on how and what you pack. As for me personally (I consider myself an “average” hiker in regards to what I pack and need) it would likely be perfect for two nights or less worth of clothing, provisions, and supplies. Anything more would likely be pushing it, though again, for the price, it is exactly what I wanted. I’ve used it through the rain, and although it wasn’t through a monsoon, it still protected everything inside way more than I expected. Everything inside remained dry as could be, though I am not yet sure how it will hold up in torrential rain storms. The bottom line is exactly what this review title says. If you’re just starting out on the trails or have been on them for years, and if your budget isn’t huge at the moment, then I truly don’t think there are many better options. It’s absolutely awesome.

I got this for my husband who is not a hiker but normally carries heavy equipment in his backpack, this stood up to the test and he loves it. He said it is very comfortable and the straps are perfect for his fit.

I bought this to use for my work laptop when I have to go into the office. I chose this size because I prefer to use my personal keyboard and it is 22” wide. This backpack has more than enough room for the laptop and all my cords and peripheral devices. There are a ton of pockets and I got it at a great price! I am more than satisfied!
