Great alarm clock for the deaf, hard of hearing or even deep sleepers.

I can't speak to the loudness of the alarm. I bought it because I have a hard time hearing alarm sounds, and I only use the shaker feature and that works great. I use the attached clip to secure it to my pillow and then put it under my pillow inside the pillow case and use the vibrator feature to wake. Having it inside the pillowcase makes it hard to use the snooze function and you have to wake up enough to remove the alarm to shut it off. I really like the portability of this alarm. It is easy to set, make adjustments, and easy to turn off & on. If you use it on a bedside table, be aware that if you have it set to vibrate, it will vibrate and bounce around on the table, maybe even bounce off. I do like the portability of this clock. Battery life seem to be good a well.

This alarm clock really works. With different levels of vibration, (and an option for the regular buzzer), it wakes only ME up; noone else in the room. The charge lasts for months so I only have to recharge it about twice a year. The different alarm settings, allow me to have different alarms for the workweek and for the weekend. Excellent price too. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I missed a doctors appointment the first morning i used this alarm. I did not test it out and was baffled when I over slept. I then tested it and could barely hear the alarm with my hearing aids in much less with them out as I do when I sleep. The vibrating action was good but that alone was not enough to wake me. The tone of the Sonic alarm is such a high pitch that I have trouble hearing . So back to the drawing board for me.

This travel alarm clock is great! It has a clip to help it not fall off the bed, which I super appreciate (I safety pin my normal alarm vibrating bit to my pillow at home because it like to fall off the bed). Vibrates well to wake me up. I didn't evaluate volume, because I don't use sound to wake up. Easy to set, pretty easy to see the time (just gotta feel for the light-up button). Definitely recommend!

Had this for exactly two years. Worked great as I needed help in waking up. The vibration mode was very effective. Sometime over the last month or so the vibrating function stopped working when set to an alarm. The test button does initiate the vibration. It just doesn't start when I need it the most, during a scheduled wake up time.

If you need to wake up this thing does the job… usually scares me awake but apparently that’s what I need! The vibration is so strong and loud and the buzzer is annoying… but it works. I dropped a star because I wish it would slowly start to vibrate or if the vibration could have different levels it but it does the job.

I had been wearing my hearing aides while I slept because otherwise I slept through multiple alarms, creating undue stress for me. I was told not to wear my aides while I slept so I went searching on Amazon. Clock so easy to set, etc don't need the directions. Than Goodness. Thank You Amazon. I attach the alarm to a waist running item. Can't wait to wake each morning early and not hours late anymore.
