If you click on the FPPF HOT 4 in 1 picture there is a 4 bullet points explanation: 1. Dispersing water's any normal accumulation of water in a tank, turning it into a combustible solution. 2. Getting rid of sludge. HOT 4 in 1’s specially formulated chemical base dissolves the sludge into a combustible substance in such a way as not to clog nozzles while assuring clean filters and strainers. 3. Improving atomization and reducing soot. HOT 4 in 1 eliminates sludge so the fuel oil reaching the nozzles is clean. This will mean improved atomization takes place and soot is reduced substantially. Ultimately resulting in more complete combustion, less smoke and better fuel economy. 4. Preventing waxing and gelling. HOT 4 in 1 will disperse the water that causes fuel line and fuel filter icing. Also during the coldest days of winter, fuel oil in outdoor tanks can cease to flow.

Q: Does this work for Double Wall tanks ? Just had a new tank installed outside.

Not sure on the double wall information. but my tank is also outside. This works great for me it keeps the oil from gelling up and clogging the line in the winter also turns any condensation that might occur the tank into burnable fuel

Q: can i use this in kerosene?

Kerosene is slightly more refined than diesel fuel (#2 heating oil is dyed diesel) the difference is #2oil has more paraffin wax than kerosene making kerosene less likely to gel. So yes.

As a purchaser of this item, I was asked to answer your question. I have no idea why it was categorized as a treatment for hair. However, rest assured I put the chemical in my heating oil tank and did not use it for hair care. Maybe someone else used it as a hot oil treatment.I 🤔
