Item as described.
Item as described. Nice and bright. I have 6 units on top of 25ft poles. (3 on each pole) The first set lasted about 5 years before 1 of them failed. I have to rent a vertalift to replace them so just replace them all while I have the lift. I hope these last that long also.

Vey bright light, too many lumens for the price.
These light is very bright, my home looks like an auto dealership to say something. It looks very nice on the pole where I installed it, very easy to wire the cables and with enough cable for a typical pole installation, I installed it like a year ago and have had no issues with it, I highly recommend it since it is also not that expensive for the quality of the light.

The cord is too short to reach a box, but it can be done.
The 150W units I bought are of excellent quality and sturdy. The lamps are almost ridiculously bright and light up my parking area like the sun. Mounting presented a few challenges, but nothing difficult. The cord is designed to be connected inside the mounting bracket when attached to a square pole or similar flat surface directly over where the power will come in, which is why it's so short. The mounting holes on the bracket are about 4" or 4-1/2" on center, too wide to mount the bracket directly on the box, but the lamp is too heavy to do it that anyway. I mounted mine directly to the wall with a couple of 3/8" x 2-1/2" lag bolts.I had to lengthen the power cord to reach the box where the previous yard lights were mounted. What I did was remove the circular plate on the knuckle opposite of the angle adjustment bolt, drill a 7/8" hole in it and mount a 1/2" weatherproof cord grip. Then, I dismantled the lamp and replaced the cord with a longer one - it's 18/3 SJOW cable - I used about 24", which I then routed to the cast box through one of the 1/2" threaded holes the previous yard lights were in, using another 1/2" cord grip. SOJW is stranded, oil-resistant and suitable for use outdoors. It will need to be secured to keep ice or whatever from pulling on it.If you don't wish to have the photocell turn the lights on and off, a piece of durable metal foil tape across the sensing window will do the trick and it will come on either with a switch or motion sensor, which is what I did. My motion sensor is made by RAB, and it has a daylight sensor of its own, so I didn't want both.

RF Polluter
It did power up and provided plenty of light, but one of the BIG things I pay attention to in products is RF (wireless/radio) noise produced. It's here this product FAILS miserably. There is wideband, powerful RFI produced from this device across a HUGE swath of frequencies. It wipes out MF and HF completely. The noise floor is raised considerably for VHF/UHF/SHF. This will interfere with ANY wireless device within a certain radius. It actually injects the noise onto the AC power line. Most of the time these are mounted up high, sometimes with a long vertical run of power cable. Well, that power cable then becomes a really good antenna to radiate this garbage at even greater distances. These sorts of products need to be called out. The RF pollution they create degrades the performance of so many wireless devices we all now use. This product fails FCC standards for unintentional radiators by a LONG SHOT. Avoid this light like the plague. I did end up finding an RF quiet light from another manufacturer here on Amazon that's just fine in every respect, so not everything coming from overseas is bad - but THIS is a BAD ONE.Thank you to Amazon for their return policy. I should have done the world a favor and just destroyed it, but I can't afford to throw my $$$ away like that.

Went out in only 6 months.
We purchased and installed this light only six months ago and it has already burned out. We have several others on campus that seem to be doing very well. We loved how much it lit up our parking lot, but disappointed that it didn't even last more than 6 months.UPDATE: I changed my review to 5 stars. The company saw my first review, reached out to me, and generously replaced the item right away. They stand behind their product!
