These hornworms come shipped in a habitat with food! Hornworms are great for picky eaters and can be a good trick to get your reptile off a hunger strike! They come in an intriguing blue/green color that is sure to catch the eye of your reptile! They are a good treat due to their high water content which will help re-hydrate your reptile! Both the 12 count and the 25 count come with the same amount of food. The 12 count hornworm cups will have enough food to grow them to their full 3”-4” length while the 25 count hornworm cups will run out of food when the worms reach about 1.5”-2” in length. Keep the cup upside down and either prop up the bottom or place it on a screen or grate so fresh air can flow through the habitat. If you'd like your worms to grow to their full size, keep them at 82°. If you keep them at 55° you will slow down their growth rate. Hornworms usually double in size when kept at warmer temperatures. If your worms are not growing fast enough, or are too small, place them in a warm location and they will grow extremely quick. Shake out the droppings, yellow little 'kernels', so they don’t build up to quickly. These hornworms are about ½” long when shipped out and they will grow slightly throughout transit, especially during warm summer months.

PERFECT!!
The media could not be loaded. Perfect size, condition, etc! Delivered and said “live animals” on package! Which is nice because of the warm weather here in GA! I was actually home when they got dropped off, so that was awesome! See attached video!

Won't be ordering again.
These are def cheaper than buying from a pet store. They arrived looking fine. But within a couple of days the ones at the bottom has some kind of black mold on them and just opening the container was disgusting. It had a rancid smell. I couldn't feed more than maybe 4 to my chameleon before they were all just gross.

The first order was great! The second order.... not so much.
The first order of these were great! I feed these to my bearded dragon and she loves them. Shes only 4.5 months old so they can't be too big. I feed these to her as a snack a couple times a day and the first order, the worms were small enough that, by day 4 they were getting a little big, but not too big for her to eat safely. The second order, on the other hand, the worms came and they were already HUGE! I placed an order for two of them. Both of them, the worms were already way too big for her to eat. One of the containers, the food had seperated from the top and just fell to the bottom, so I had to put both sets of worms in one container. Out of the 24 worms I ordered around 8 of them were dead and the other 16 were way too big for my girl to eat. I ended up having to give them to a friend of mine with an adult bearded dragon so they did just go to waste. Not sure why there was such a huge growth difference from the first to last, but I will probably just stick with the person we used to order from. The wait is a little longer but at least the worm size is going to be what we need for our baby.

*WARNING* Frog Died
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: *OUR PAC-MAN FROG DIED* not long after eating these. I can't help but think it's because of the way they are stored. Apparently at some point they need to be transferred to another cage or something. Either way, the frog was perfectly healthy until he ate these worms. I bought these to feed to my son's Pacman frog. They arrived pretty large, but were a good size for the frog in his stage right now. We've fed three to him so far and he really seemed to enjoy them. This morning my son brought the worms to me and they are enormous. They barely have room to move now. I was very happy with it once it arrived, but they have doubled in size over the last few days and the frog is not that big yet. I'm concerned he will only be able to eat a few more and would've like to seen smaller worms sent that could grow as he grows. Overall this is a great idea and product that makes feeding the frog very convenient, just wish they wouldn't have grown so quickly.

Disappointed in shipping
Usually they are great this time the container was broken, worms dead, and food not attached like it usually is. I believe this was a shipping issue. I Gabe gotten them many times before and this has never happened.8/24/19 got another one this time they are full grown and container filled with feces covering the worms. Will not be ordering again.

Don't plan to use these in their neonatal stages.
I'm going to assume that since it's summer and these guys were in transit without a cool pack that they reached adulthood in transit. I was able to feed a few to my adult tarantulas but was hoping for smaller worms to feed to my juvenile tarantulas. In any case, cup was satisfactory and there was enough food for everyone. Just wish they weren't adults at arrival.

Big and Juicy - Dragon loves them
These shipped quickly and cam in a large cup with plenty of food and two screens. Many others only ship worms with one screen and a smaller cup. They are growing quite quickly, even though they arrived an already good size.Well worth spending a couple dollars more on quality, as all were alive and healthy looking.

Better than other sellers!
We’ve ordered horned worms & meal worms on Amazon many times from many places & find it to be hit & miss. These were by far the best we’ve had delivered. They arrived really fast, in an extra large container & with tons of food. They were all alive & were still nice and tiny. Will definitely be ordering from here again!
