I mistaking my bought this thinking it was tapioca pearls, I know my mistake I bought these late at night. However I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think I would like them but they literally just taste like popping versions of tapioca pearls. Like a brown sugar taste. I saw a review saying it tasted like chemicals and while I could in hindsight see how someone tastes that, the brown sugar overrides it. I use it with taro milk tea and they go so good together. They’re strong enough so that when you pour ice on top they don’t break easily but super easy to break when biting. I honestly could see myself purchasing these again when I run out since they’re ready to put in the cup just like that (tapioca pearls you have to boil and I don’t want to do that lol). I would honestly give these a try if you like tapioca pearls but don’t want to go through the hassle of making them, they’re a good ready to serve and delicious alternative!

Good color & texture, no leaks, worth the $. The blueberry is best of the 4 flavors we tried. 1. Blueberry - great by the spoonful’s & juice they’re in is so good too! 2. Dragon Fruit - very flavorful, great by the spoonfuls & juice they’re in is delicious 3. Watermelon - great in lemonade 4. Cherry - perfect for sprite/start

My favorite popping boba

These are NOT the same Boba you get in your iced drink. They are small Boba-sized delicate bubbles of brown sugar juice. They are tasty, but definitely have no texture since they pop with the slightest pressure.

These are repulsive. There’s citric acid in them, which would work well with fruit flavors, but not brown sugar! I didn’t realize this when I purchased them, obviously. Just imagine brown sugar flavor with the tartness of lemon and you have an idea of the taste… but then also imagine it tasting of chemicals, not nature. Ugh. Disgusting. I thought maybe it was just me, so I had my husband (whom we call The Garbage Disposal because he eats things the rest of us would rather throw out) try them. He called them “inedible” and ranted about how you can’t mix citric acid into a non-fruit treat and still have it taste good. He agreed that they also taste of chemicals and kind of like plastic. Not the texture, but the taste. I try not to leave bad reviews unless I feel like the company deserves it. Most sellers are just trying to sell their products and will give you a refund or replacement if you get an item you truly dislike. Since you can’t return or replace this item I’m leaving this review instead. Go ahead and order the fruit flavors — I haven’t tasted them, but I imagine they’re tasty despite the citric acid, but gosh… I wouldn’t attempt any non-fruit bobas. I shudder remembering the taste. The prompt is asking me to speak of the fun factor, the value, and the size. All are great if you remove the horrifying flavor.
