Perfect seal
Had a warped door on my wood stove and a new gasket didn't seal it off. This product was perfect. I cut just the length that I needed and placed it against the stove. Now the gasket on the door closes against the one on the stove. Completely sealed. Great product.

The adhesive is good too
I have a Fisher stove thar is not supposed to need gaskets, however I could never close it up enough for a long slow burn. This thin gasket did the trick. Close one door measure the gap and fill it with this material. Now we can heat all night, not overheat, and not rely on propane. We have used 2 face cords of cheap light wood (poplar) this winter. I was suspicious of a peel and stick adhesive however it seems to hold up well. I burn about 350 degrees.

Works well but!
This item works well but the item description is misleading. It says the gasket is 9’ long and then shows that there are two pieces. This indicates to me that there are two 9’ pieces when there are actually two 4 1/2’ pieces.

Trash. Absolute trash.
Rated to 1000? Try stove temp reaching 400° before becoming fiberglass-coated napalm and falling onto my pantleg while trying to tend the stove. Adhesion was non existent. And it doesn't seal when it's burning your leg. This product is a safety hazard.

Will not stick for long
I used this mid-winter to patch a few leaks in the door gasket. At first they were great. If I did not have to open the door they would have been fine. After heating and opening the door a few times they started to fall off. As a plain gasket material they are fine. I put them back up with some gasket cement. This will get me by until I totally remove the old gasket and replace it for next year. One advantage they do have is they have a rigid fiberglass backing. This keeps them more dimensionally stable that a plain gasket. Thin gaskets used on glass stretch easily are very difficult to get a consistently thick layer. Also, they would stay in place without using messy cement until you can get things clamped up. Next time I have to do a window I will definitely get these. Windows go on once and do not get opened again. They should be great for that.
