Good value
I purchased this product 5 years ago for use in my classroom as a mail box for my students. The literature organizer has held up over the past five school years, where it is in use by students several times each day. The outer "box" is made up of MDF particle board with a thin laminate covering. This has not chipped, stained, or torn since my purchase. Every now and then it gets wiped down with a baby wipe or a bit of spray cleaner on a paper towel. The inner horizontal and vertical partitions are cardboard. The pieces slide together and fit into the box. It took a while to assemble originally, but is just as sturdy now as it was when new. There are black plastic "rails" that sort of snap over the edge of the shelves. It came with stick on paper labels for the shelves. The labels didn't hold up well and were impossible to remove. I now label the shelves using large binder clips - attach the new label to the bottom of the clip and clip that onto the front of the shelf. The shelves hold letter size paper laid in flat. It' sturdy enough for a few papers and two or three composition notebooks. While this is not the highest quality item available, for the price, it has been a good value and has held up well for the past 5 school years.

This is junk! 0/5 stars - not even worth one star.
This product is awful. It has cardboard pieces. For the entire inside which makes it very flimsy. Does not go together properly and flush in all sides/parts/pieces. Not worth the money! We decided it wasn’t even worth trying to salvage it after it didn’t fit right so we junked it to the burn pile. 0/5 stars do not recommend. If I could have sent it back for a refund I would have. But it was already together and parts broken. Would love my $ back still if possible.

Great organizer at an economical price
Construction was as expected. Super easy assembly. Not a super fancy shelf, but it gets the job done well especially in an office or warehouse environment. This is the exact same style/brand of organizer that we've had for a long time. The old one has held up well. We just needed additional slots.

Not great for classrooms
I bought this for my kindergarten classroom and should have checked measurements. Students folders do not fit easily in the slots. Very difficult to put together and some pieces broke and chipped before I even got it up. The holes are not carved out well which causes the pegs to either break or puncture the outside of the panel. I am using it, but it is not ideal.

Cheap, Save your money
This product was not easy to put together from the beginning. I should’ve sent it back, but I was in a pinch because school was starting. The dividers are cardboard and very cheap. It is not sturdy and did not hold up. I bought this July 2022 and it is February 2, 2023. I did not get one full school year out of these mailboxes. Very disappointing.

Works well for the price
The wood frame is sturdy, and we haven't had any trouble with the cardboard dividers bending or bowing. A black plastic rim clips on to the front of each shelf to provide stability. Removable labels (included)can be appled to it. Dowel and wood glue assembly (glue is included). The dowels fit loosely in the holes on our unit, so the glue was essential. I suggest giving it plenty of time to dry before moving it and before inserting paper in the corner slots (there may be a few drips). We secured the top and bottom panels of the frame to each side with a couple pieces of packing tape to provide stability as the glue dried. The back panel is secured with finishing nails, so have a hammer handy. The backing has puckered a bit, but it is not noticeable and does not affect the function of the unit. Looks good and meets our needs for paper sorting.

Works great
I’ve had this for 3 years in a classroom of kindergarteners. It looks brand new still. We empty it weekly and the kids use it daily to put their papers in. Holds a 9x12 piece of construction paper just barely.

Don’t waste your time
Don’t even waste your time on it.I couldn’t put it together. I followed the directions. The pegs were too long and when I tried to push them into place, they would not budge. Ended up poking a hole through the top shelf with the peg by hammering it. And at the end of it all I’m left with maybe two pegs that aren’t snapped in half and I completely useless unbuilt shelf.
