Nice Thick Tarp and Sturdy Construction
My biggest concern with a shelter like this was that the tarp would be the same cheap kind of tarp that you get at Walmart. I can tell you the tarp for this shelter is made of very thick material, rip-stop PVC, but not at all like the ones sold in camping supplies. I would even call this a 'PVC Canvas'; it is so nice. The shelter was delivered in two boxes, one with all the poles, and one with the canvas and connectors. We did the assembly with two people, but one person could potentially do this alone. It took my wife and me about two hours in total. The directions were very nicely written in American English, not in 'Chinglish.' Diagrams were plentiful and made assembly a snap. When we separated all the parts, a few of the poles had small dings from shipping, but it was not enough to compromise the structure, so we went ahead and assembled it. I may call them to get some replacements, but I'm not overly concerned. The rods and connectors were all neatly packed and, at first blush, look nice and solid. Also, every piece literally snaps into another, which makes assembly very simple. You build the roof first, which is nice because it gives you an idea of the area it will take up, and it can be easily repositioned for optimal placement. Next, you assemble one wall, not two. It is important to only do one wall and then cover it with the doors and roof/wall tarp before erecting the second wall; otherwise, you will need to be up on ladders with two people. Every pole has a sturdy foot at the bottom that stakes to the ground. All of the joints feel nice and thick and super sturdy. Time will tell. When putting on the canvas, you put the doors on first, which are bungeed to the frame, but the roof/wall canvas is where this shelter really stands out. Many other shelters out there have separate roofs and walls which tie to the frame with grommets. The issue I've seen with them is that the grommets tear. Advance Outdoor instead engineers this shelter using a unique belt and pole system with no grommets. The roof and walls are one large piece of canvas. The canvas has a belt on the front and back door that tie down on the four corners using a ratchet strap. It works like a hoodie on a winter coat when you tighten it around your face. Then there are wall poles that slide through tubes built into the tarp near the base of the walls, and horizontal poles clamping those to the vertical wall poles. The ratchet straps and the horizontal wall poles are how the roof/wall canvas is held onto the structure, so there are no grommets to tear or rip. Once the canvas and doors are on the structure, you raise the second wall. At this point, there is some tweaking to get the canvas centered, and it helps to have two people and a ladder at this point. The horizontal poles on the wall should end up about 6 inches off the ground. Another nice feature of this shelter is that you get 12 very solid metal stakes that are about a foot long to give the structure a nice deep anchor into the ground. Overall first impressions: 1. Nicely packed and all parts present. 2. Easy for two people to assemble with only a rubber mallet needed to hammer stakes into the ground. 3. PVC Canvas is an impressive thickness and has a quality feel with a big 'Advance Outdoor' logo. 4. Poles and especially joints seem to be very good quality, with some minor shipping dings on 3 poles. 5. Smart 'no grommet' design of the main roof/wall canvas to avoid the common issue with other shelters. 6. Assembled in only about two hours. 7. Overall, a great experience."

Great quality for the price.
I bought this 10'x20' carport for my Ford Ranger. We were sick of shoveling it out of the snow. We live in the green mts. It fits in it perfectly. We were considering a metal carport and am very glad we went with fabric instead. It was very easy for me to set up. It took about 4 hours with 20 minutes of help from my wife. It is very sturdy. Last night we had high winds that blew my big bbq around the deck and knocked over some wood piles but the carport was fine. I'm very happy with this purchase. There are a couple things you should know. I sharpened the tent posts they provided so it would be easier to pound them into the gravel of my driveway. When pounding them in, make sure the doors are zipped shut or you may have to reposition the stakes. I had to bungee the center of the door up a few inches so the flex antenna on my truck would clear. I highly recommend this carport/storage shed.

Makes a good canopy frame
I bought this 8x8 shelter five months ago in March 2025. The current price is about a third less, but that could change. I did not use the fabric covering but instead just use the frame as a canopy frame with a tarp for a temporary patio in my backyard. For this it works well. The tubes are large and strong and are a big improvement over the popup canopy I was using for several years, whose legs finally broke in a 50+ mph wind. The cover seems to be the weak point in this anyway. They don't sell just the frame. I covered the frame with a 9x12 tarp and it works great. When the tarp deteriorates, it's a cheap and easy replacement. I laid rubber mats from a local DIY store on the ground over landscaping fabric to keep the mud and weeds at bay. The frame is a bit loose when you shake it because of the pins used to connect the tubes, but it was straightforward to put up and has been holding up well in storms and winds up to maybe 45 mph. The little bungee cords used to hold the cover to the frame are deteriorating in the sun, so I've been replacing them with cord to tie the tarp on. They should last better when used as designed in the interior of the shed, out of the elements. It did not come with enough stakes to fit all the holes in the feet, so I had to supplement them with steel nail-type tent stakes.

Material could be thicker, but its getting the job done.
This is a very nice tent. Seems like the material is decent quality. I and a friend put it together and it was easy enough to assemble. So far it's been up for over a month. It does keep the stuff dry as we've had some pretty significant rains. the main thing is keep it taunt when you set it up. There are velcro straps that work very well. The vents on each side do provide some ventilation. The thickness of the material was a little concerning but so far so good. The multiple stakes keep it stable and firmly in the ground. Protection of my stored items seems good at this point.

Solid in every way.
I purchased this to store the contents of my garage until I could have it rebuilt. This unit weather every storm that blew through the midwest for 6 months and it kept everything protected. Besides a zipper breaking, I had no problems with this tent; poles got hot sometimes but thats what the sun does to metal. When I was finished with it, I broke it down and stored it for future use. I’d use better stakes, but thats a personal preference.

One Quality Product !
I purchased this shelter to cover my fishing boat for the winter rather than shrink wrap it again this winter. I set it up easily and anchored it down with provided hardware as well as large nails in each foot flange. We did have high winds a few weeks ago where my neighbor's portable shelter, which looked like it was more expensive than the one I purchased, was torn to shreds, while my (your) shelter stood tall and is still protecting my boat from heavy snow etc. I love it. Thanks for making a quality product. MDM

Don't expect it to keep things dry.
Tent was fairly easy to put up by myself and seems sturdy. However it is definitely NOT water proof. Just had our first rain since it went up, and my MX-5, while not as wet as it would have been, is certainly NOT dry.

Good for the money.
This is a pretty decent storage shelter. I have had mine for almost 3 years and it’s holding up and keeping the sun and most of the moisture off my 4 wheelers and small equipment. It has been through several strong winds and has been damaged and is getting worn. The doors held up pretty good but after about 2 years the zippers give out and start ripping. Things I would recommend is to get some screw in anchors and put 6 of those in at rack corner and in the middle on the long sides and use ratchet straps to hold it to the ground. The wall pieces are a little long and I piled some wood 4x4 I had to help keep everything tight. I then took 4 additional ratchet straps and kinda stretched it out. I tied one to a telephone pole and then tied off to something else on the other side and did that on all 4 corners to help with side winds. I had one strong storm blowing right at the side and it belt and broke most of the leg poles so I got 2x2 boards and tied the 2x2 to the legs tight and it seems to be working good. The other thing I would recommend is not even using the bungee cords they supply to hold the doors on. They stretch and fail quick and allow wind to blow in. I used baler twine but you could get a good rope that will fit through the grommets that won’t stretch and it will work better. Also if you can weight the bottom of the doors so they don’t flap in the wind. Snow is also a concern. Mine has done good with some heavy snows. If it’s really bad I mock it off with a broom from the inside. Snow slides off pretty easy. You can contact customer service and get replacement but there is a language barrier but they are quick to respond and easy to deal with.
