Give this breathalyzer five stars because it's solid, does its job, and doesn't try and do too much. Of course, stuff like this on Amazon always tries to do too much, but this keeps it simple and does it well. One note I've seen in other reviews that I'd like to reiterate is that this doesn't ship with the necessary 2 AAA batteries, but at the price point it's at its perfectly fine.

This item does not give an accurate reading. Had it tested by a friend who is a police officer and 2 out of 3 times the reading was zero when the police breathalyzer showed close to the legal limit. Waste of money.

It’s almost a really good little device, EXCEPT it beeps loudly if it registers .02 BAC and above, which makes it completely useless in a public setting. I would understand if the alarm went off when you were close to .08, but if you’ve had even a single drink and want to be safe before heading home, you’re going to draw the attention of the entire restaurant with this thing. As far as I can tell there’s no way to turn off the sound. If there were this would be great, but as it is this thing is kinda “meh.”

Ease of use. Put in two batteries, push a button and wait for the sound prompt, blow for 8 seconds. The BAC percentage will appear on the small screen.

Of course this device is not designed for great accuracy. It was a great christmas gift for friends to help keep us honest when we go out or when friends drink over at parties.

This was a funny yet super practical gift for a young adult. It might be funny to open but it could save a life, a license and help someone make a safe choice. Works as expected!

I'm going to return this. It has annoying beeps. No WAY I would do this in a restaurant. It is not discreet. The beeps are REALLY loud & you can't shut them off. I'm not sure how accurate it is either. I can blow four times in a row & get four different readings.

Bought THIS for a friend who wants to cut back on his drinking. All the blah blah blah I ain't worried about on his why. Bought THIS because I saw the pic and checked the description. Nothing I saw gave me any reason to believe there was only one device in my order. The first pic showed two and the description DOES NOT say one device. So thought it was two devices. Open it up on delivery and I'm checking a bag I was previously sitting on for a second box. Make sure you get a piece count before you pay I guess
