Good product, but continuous calibration is a pain
For the monitors that tells you a reading immediately and for the price, this is prob one of the better ones on amazon. This has the feature of showing past 8 hours changes and fairly reactive. My issue with this is the calibration has to be done every time after shut off. Otherwise the hcho reading would be way off compared to other monitors I've used.Otherwise the other readings are reasonable enough.

Great and reliable entry level tester
I bought a cheaper one and I regretted it. This one however is excellent in comparison. My only complaint is the battery lasts about 4 hours. You can counter this by charging it while it's on, so no biggie. These devices need to be calibrated on startup, and I think that goes for all of them on the market, so don't hold that against this tester. It's stable and seemingly accurate if allowed to do it's startup thing. The graphs and recording ability are excellent. Display is clear and well laid out. Menu system is fairly simple and intuitive.I would recommend this if you want a good but mostly inexpensive entry into air quality testers.

Good For Comparison Purposes Only & No Radon Detection
I can’t attest to the accuracy, but it’s useful for testing and comparing different environments. For instance, your kitchen, bedroom, basement, garage, car, office, etc. and the results appear to make sense. For instance, I saw increased particle ratings in our kitchen, which went up significantly when cooking. I was also able to detect much higher levels of HCHO when I tested the air in my friend's new car, as well as at my office, as compared to my old house which registered minimal HCHO. That said, I found the kitchen measurements the most interesting, and noticed that the air quality on the whole main floor, and even upstairs, were noticeably affected when cooking, and it lasted for several hours (3+), and has me thinking that opening some windows might be a good idea when cooking. As for specs, it measures HCHO, TVOC, PM2.5, PM1.0, PM10, temperature and humidity. HCHO is organic formaldehyde, which is a volatile organic compound commonly found in a home from off gassing and combustion and is a carcinogen. Makes sense that I was getting very high readings within my friend's car.TVOC stands for total volatile organic compounds, and encompasses a wide range of organic chemical compounds. The value depicts the volume of relevant organic compounds found in the air.PM2.5 is the measure of fine particulates that are 2.5 microns or less in diameter. PM1.0 are particles less than 1 micron, and PM10 less than 10 microns. PM2.5 and PM1.0 are of particular concern, given their small size.Lots of different measurements, but unfortunately, it does not measure radon gas.Prior to using it you have to calibrate the unit in clean air (outdoors) but also means the values you get are based on that baseline, which means the values, presuming they are accurate, are only as good as your baseline environment. As such, it is a tool more suitable for comparisons, then it is for actually obtaining objective accurate measurements of air quality. The device also allows you to continuously monitor and log results, but the battery doesn’t last very long - only a couple hours, and I think it’s partly due to the internal fan that circulates air through the unit. However, the fan is very small and silent. That said, you can use the USB-C cord, and use it while plugged in.Final Thought: Interesting tool and can give you some invaluable insights into the air quality of different environments, as compared to others, but unfortunately doesn’t include radon gas.

Nice unit
Nicely constructed unit, seems pretty consistent with the measurements, can't vouch for accuracy as I don't have anything to compare it with. I have had to calibrate it a few times.

It works. Must be calibrated on each boot up.
5 out of 5 Stars (4.6)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐[TL;DR][QUALITY] (5/5)[VALUE] (4/5)[EASE OF USE] (4/5)[MET EXPECTATIONS] (5/5)[PACKAGING] (5/5)[REVIEW REMARKS]I was getting horrendous readings when I first used the device. Thankfully, I am not a canary. I think I would be on the bottom of my cage with the poor air quality suggested by this reader.Once I calibrated it, the readings became more hospitable to lifeforms. Little did I realize, you need to calibrate this bad boy each time you use it.Calibration is quite simple. You go outside and set the meter into calibration mode. When done, you are able to return indoors and begin your readings. The monitor detects and measures the levels of HCHO (Formaldehyde), TVOC, PM2.5, PM1.0, and PM10 in the air. I did not know what these were until I tested this device. I am definitely more aware of air quality.I originally ordered this device to scan our home for air quality issues. My wife has adverse effects to poor air quality. I am not certain this is the device I needed to order, however, the readings are good to have.I figured having this along with an air purifier will keep bad air quality at bay.I like that this unit records temperature and humidity. This is good to know at a glance. You can record your readings and save them to memory. This would be good if you are trying to stay ahead of an issue. You can chart your progress. This is cool, but I think I am good with the basic feature readings. All in all, this device does measure air quality, I am not certain of its accuracy or such. I do not have anything to compare it to. I have had great luck with battery life. This device does not come with a case or storage solution.Recommended to those with issues of air quality. This reader may assist you in getting the readings required to improve your air quality. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.
