emotional read
A Lot Like Forever is such an emotional read. I loved this one so much. Your heart goes out to Whitney from the very start as she faces the challenging road ahead. You feel how torn she is with how to handle her illness and juggling her friendships, relationship and work life. Trent is lovely. You can feel how much he loves Whitney and tries everything he can to hold onto that love. There are a few surprises along the way that make you question is love is this love strong enough survive. This is such an emotional ride that will own you heart and soul. This is such a beautiful moving read that you will not be able to put down. I adore everything about Whitney and Trent. I could not get enough of this one. You need to one click this one and go on this journey with Whitney and Trent today.

Heartwarming, angsty but passionate romance with secrets
Dramatic opening to this book sets the stage for more drama. With the use of flashbacks, we have the opportunity to see how Whitney and Trent got to the point of the story where they are 30yo and 38yo respectively and still unmarried after being engaged for a very long time. While their friends are planning their weddings, Whitney is still putting off Trent with a date, a venue, a color scheme, everything! They love each other so why the hold up? Whitney has a very big secret that she is afraid to divulge so she ignores it until it becomes highly significant all the while Trent is so patient and loving.Having read the other two books in this series, I couldn’t wait to read this one. I loved the characters and was rooting for them. Ms. Snow has a way of making the reader care about her characters. Even when Whitney’s stubbornness, strong will and independent streak makes her hurt Trent, we still feel the sorrow she endures. Well-written and edited, heartwarming romance with revelations and resolutions. I loved it! I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Entangled/NetGalley. If you like passion without lots of steam in your romance, try this book. You’ll enjoy it too. OH! And one spectacular meet-cute. Wink.

Perfect ending
This was a nice finish to the Blue Moon Bay series. Trent is everything a woman wants in a man and Whitney is an independent workaholic badass. She can be kinda frustrating when it comes to her stubbornness and taking care of her health, but she has the perfect man by her side to help her. I loved the ending!!!

Weakest link of the series
Enjoyed the 1st and 2nd stories. Spoiler alert ahead - if you are going to make a medical condition a major part of the story treat it with accuracy it deserves. The medical parts of this story were so outrageously inaccurate it was an insult to the reader and any individual or family dealing with the condition.

A lovely small town romance
Novels set in small towns hold great appeal to me as I grew up in a small city. Jennifer Snow's A Lot Like Forever is the third book in her Blue Moon Bay series, and after reading it, I want to go back and read the first two books, A Lot Like Love and A Lot Like Christmas.Whitney is the hardworking head of tourism marketing for Blue Moon Bay. She has helped many small business owners, including Trent, who owns two bars in the town. Trent and Whitney have been together for seven years and are engaged to be married.Trent is eager to make wedding plans, but Whitney keeps putting him off. Her mother has Alzheimer's and lives in an adult facility. She is not doing well. Whitney's job is an all-consuming one, and when the mayor's son is appointed as her assistant, she fears that he will take her job. There's something else that is bothering Whitney, something she is hiding from Trent and her best friends. Trent doesn't understand why Whitney has been so distracted. He loves her, is kind and considerate to her mother, and his family adores Whitney.Every time Trent brings up the fact that she works too hard, it pushes Whitney's buttons. All he wants is for them to get married and start a family, but every time he brings the future up, Whitney changes the subject. As a couple they seem to moving further apart.Whitney is an independent, proud, strong woman, but as Trent says, sometimes those qualities work against her. He loves her and wants her to be able to lean on him.Trent is kind to everyone, including Angel, the divorced mom of two teenage sons, who works in his bar. He takes her two sons under his wing, putting them on his football team and finding them work with his friend's construction company. Whitney fears he may turn to Angel for comfort.I think many women may relate to Whitney's work situation. She needs her job and it consumes her, sometimes to the point that she neglects Trent and her friends. I also think people may relate to Whitney's reluctance to be honest with Trent. As someone who worked in marketing, I found Whitney's job interesting.Jennifer Snow also does a wonderful job with Whitney's mom's Alzheimer's. The many families who have to deal with this horrible disease will appreciate the compassion with which the author writes about dealing with a loved one who has it.Thanks to TLC Tours for putting me on Jennifer Snow's tour. The rest of her tour stops are here:Instagram features:.

Great small town read
I enjoyed this small town romance. It gave me all the emotions. Angry from the lack of communication between the two with the big decisions, sad when the secrets came out, and happy for the special moments they shared. I loved the small town feel and how it was set during fall/Halloween, makes me want to visit the pumpkin patch. The dual timeline was nice to see how the relationship started and why Whitney was having a hard time having the important conversation she needed to have with Trent. This was my first by this author and I really enjoyed the writing style and I can’t wait to read some more of her work.
