A lot of the reviews claim that this pencil's magnetic adjuster gets in the way of holding the pencil, but honestly, as soon as you tighten the head, you can then move the ring all the way up near the top, where it'll stay out of your grip. The pencil lead also doesn't snap at all, and even if you tighten it a lot, the lead still doesn't break or anything. The design is beautifully sleek and looks absolutely amazing in my hand, with a very smooth finish and a lovely, shimmering color. Such an elegant and wonderful pencil! It's very easy to adjust the length of the protruding lead, and the general thickness makes it something close to impossible to break. However, despite the lead looking horrifyingly dull, the sharpener works quite well, despite its absolutely minute size. Online, the anti-roll ring only looked like a measly metal washer, but it already saved me at least twice of cracking open the pencil. The general quality is great, and it's very robust and durable. This product works like magic and I absolutely recommend it to everyone out there looking for a great mechanical pencil. Absolutely worth its price, as it also contains a twelve-piece refill and a small velvet bag, along with the sharpener, and anti-roll washer thing. I highly recommend it, and in fact, I think I'll get a second.

I love this thing. What's wonderful about it is its quirkiness but it also works! Intead of a clicker or a turning mechanism it uses an external magnetic ring to push the lead, which is attached to its own magnetic holder internally. It is beautifully engineered, feels great in the hand, comes in a nifty metal box, and includes a second magnetic ring, a cute little sharpener, 12 extra leads in their own plastic box, and a pin (a sim card removal tool) to push the lead out of the internal magnet. Takes a little experimentation to figure out, which is also fun, and is a pleasure to use.

This is a pretty cool pencil. There are a few issues that you want to be aware of but as a whole it is well built and comes with a nice selection of accesories. This isnt a typical click and write type mechanism. You have to lossen the tip and then slid the lead down with the metal ring (the lead is held in a ho,der attached to a magnet). Then you tighten the tip and you can then move the ring back to the top of the pencil where it is held with another magnet. The jaw that grips the lead is brass and work ok as long as you dont jam the lead down hard (i measured the weight and it takes just shy of 15 lbs of force to get the lead to slip back into the pencil) I did have the lead break a few times when I went to put the lead back up into the holder (this may have been my error as I might of had too much lead sticking out) . I also had trouble removing the old lead from the holder (it fits very very tight) and I broke a lead trying to replace it. You will waste about half an inch of lead at the end as this wont feed down all the way. Not a big deal just a heads up. The included lead is ok. Not the best but not real scratchy. It is a bit crummy if your shading with it. The lead pointed works pretty good and is so compact that it fits easily in a pencil box or bag. The extra ring (supposed to prevent the pencil from rolling off the desk) works ok but really doesnt preveent roll aways. All the pieces are machined well and the overall body is thick and durable. The pencil is a bit thinner than I like (about the diameter of a standard wood case pencil). And the body is some what slippery so getting a good grip can be a challange with sweaty hands. The anodizing seems well done and despite my flipping the rings up and down a few million times is still in good shape (except on the edge of the cap where the rings clunk hard everytime I flip) Overall i like the pencil and I got it on a lighting deal so I was pleased. Love the thicker lead for worki g on soduko books.

Over the pencil is amazing. It writes nice, the feel of it is as well, and drawing with it is smooth. If I have to be brutally honest, as cool as it is to use a magnetic ring to control the lead, it sometimes gets annoying. You’ll have to unscrew the top and adjust accordingly to how long you want your lead length to be and tighten the top again. When you’re done using the pencil you’ll have to do the same thing but in reverse. Or you could just leave the lead out but the lead could brake. Which leads to you doing the same thing again but adding another step of sharpening your lead. But I’m a patient person that likes to draw and the quality and durability of this pencil is amazing giving me full control of the length of my lead to draw or write. I would recommend this pencil but please consider the drawbacks! Happy drawing or writing!

People are giving this a bad review because they don’t realize this is an artists pencil. Its made for sketches and art, not for writing. If you buy this for art then it is an amazingly pencil and works very well. I didn’t have any of the issues people are talking about and its very sturdy and well made. I will be buying more, it became my new main drawing tool. I have made many beautiful pieces with it already and no issues

Es un producto muy bueno, se siente muy sólido y no parece que vaya a romperse nunca. Sostiene muy bien las minas pero hay que ajustarla bien, a veces puede irse retrocediendo poco a poco dependiendo de tu fuerza. Si eres de los que sudan mucho las manos como yo, después de un rato de dibujar se resbala un poco por lo mismo, estaría genial un ligero grip de caucho o algo por el estilo, pero eso es mas personal que sobre el producto en si. Solo tuve un problema porque llegó por correos de México y tardo muchísimo en llegar, ojala lo mandaran por otra paquetería aunque costara un poco mas. Me encanta <3
