I bought this blender in October and I love it. I have a small smoothie blender and it was not big enough for making gazpacho and it was not recommended to use with hot items. This blender has a glass carafe so it has a lot of uses. I've made gazpacho in it a few times already and it can puree the tomatoes, cucumber, onion and pepper pieces with some water in about a minute! I've had some full-size blenders with plastic carafes and they were much slower and would never be able to puree raw vegetables this quickly, if at all.To clean it I just add some dish soap to the carafe, run the blender and rinse. The power of the blender is top-notch, and the big glass carafe make it possible to blend soups (cooled down a bit of course to avoid over pressurized liquids) purees very fast. It's economical when you compare it to name brands with glass carafes that blend with this power and speed.

I’ve been looking for a glass jar blender for so long and I’ve finally found a great one that’s not over priced.Some people complained on the reviews that you can’t take it apart (the blade & jar) to clean it but that hasn’t been a problem for me. All you have to do is rinse right after or blending water and soap to clean it.With other blenders that you have to take apart to clean, I’ve found that they don’t always blend well because you can’t get the jar to fit in right. With this one you just set it in there and the light will turn on without any problem!I highly recommend this blender especially over any plastic jar one. My ninja would always end up with a crack in it after blending salsas.Make your life easier and buy this one :)

After the blender we had for years finally died, we looked for another that was made of glass. The plastic blenders seem to wear out faster, crack, and leak. This blender is so much sturdier, it doesn’t take up much space on the counter. Because it isn’t all that big and you wanted to make a big batch of frozen margaritas, you would have to do it in two batches and hold on to the handle to make sure the ice doesn’t cause it to rock and roll. However, it does have a suction cups on the bottom of the base, so it is pretty stable if you are just making smoothies or grinding up bread for crumbs. The control dial on the front of the base is so much easier than pushing buttons like we did with the old blender. We are very happy with this product.

This blender is very cute; looks good on the counter. Easy to use, simple 3 position dial where the top speed is impressive indeed. But, my $20 Oyster blender does a better job - it actually blends. I have been blending the same thing for years - beets, carrots, kale, raw ginger, raw turmeric, and other similar things. No matter how I do it, I end with chunks of unblended material. I have tried using more liquid or different liquids. Water, coconut milk, orange, lemon or pomegranate juice. I have tried different speeds; more time, less time. Nothing. I am left with chunks of unblended material. That never happened with my infinitely cheaper blenders. Same ingredients, same liquids, same diet since 2004. Their is a difference. With the old, much cheaper blenders, I would just threw the stuff whole into the blender. With this one, I tried cutting them into much smaller pieces. It did not help. Same results. So, unless you want to be very frustrated, find another blender. I am really considering returning it to get my money back.

I ordered this blender to replace an old Cuisinart that is no longer in production. One feature that was important to me was that the jar be glass rather than plastic, as I prefer glass. I knew when purchasing this blender that the jar is attached to the blade and cannot be disassembled, but I was under the impression that this model has a self-cleaning function. It does not, and that should be removed from the description as it is misleading.Because there is no self-cleaning function and you cannot separate the jar from the blade, this blender can be a bit of a pain to clean. If I’m making a protein shake (the primary reason I purchased this blender), it’s really not that big of a deal. However, when blending thicker types of foods/liquids, it is more of a hassle to get the entire unit clean. If anything gets stuck near the blades, you are at risk of cutting yourself if you try to scrub down there. On the flip side, there are fewer pieces to clean, which saves me time compared to a unit that comes apart.In terms of power, this blender seems to get through ice pretty well on the highest setting/pulse. It may take a little longer than a higher-powered blender, but it does the job at the end of the day. The controls are self-explanatory and thus this blender is quite easy to use.Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this product to people who would like an affordable glass blender. I would just caution people that cleaning can be a slight hassle.

I love everything about this blender! The blender is powerful and very well made. I've been using it to make smoothies and it's fantastic. No need to crush the ice before adding it to the blender jar. Just add your fruit, milk and whole ice cubes and minutes later you have a smooth, creamy and delicious smoothy. I love the sleek look of the blender. I love the anti-slip feet that keep the blender firmly in place on the counter. I love the soft blue light that comes on when the glass blender jar is set correctly in the base unit to let you know it's ready to go. I highly recommend this blender!

This blender was exactly what I was looking for. I do not blend often, but this is a really solid blender, especially for the price. I only blend food and this gets the job done quickly and evenly. I recommend this blender to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, powerful blender. I will say the only downside to this blender is the seal needs to be placed right side up (grooves go down) or the blender will leak slightly - once you know this trick, the blender will not leak.
