Great tripod, great value.
I have to say this tripod is a great value. I have a smaller 40$ tripod that worked well enough but was inadequate for long exposure photography. This looked like a decent tripod so i decided to give it a try, i figured i could return it if i didnt like it.It turned out to be excellent. Its not extremely heavy and is well built. Its got a lot of flexibility in height and angles that it will support a camera. I mounted my DSLR and my longest lens (1300mm) and gave it a shake. Its very very stable. Supprisingly so.The locks on the legs are out standing. The legs fold up along the body for storage and are multiposition. There are several piviot points on the head and body allowing for maximum flexablity. One leg detaches and along with center stand forms a monopod. Not a big thing for me but a nice touchOverall this is everything i hoped it would be. Very stable, very solid. Strongly recomend.

STURDY, TALL, MONOPOD, FULL RANGE OF MOTION TRIPOD
The media could not be loaded. This is a really nice tripod. What immediately attracted me to this tripod was the full range of motion you have with the swing arm and not have to keep moving my tripod. I am just an amateur photographer, but I do like to take off hiking with my dog and take nature pictures. We live next to a nature preserve that has lots of deer and turkey with a lake and this tripod will definitely come in handy, especially since it folds up so small and has its own carrying bag and it weighs less than 5 pounds.. The bag itself is a zippered bag and there are 2 ways to carry it. You can carry it by the handles or there is an adjustable shoulder strap that is also removable. The shoulder strap has a padded section for your shoulder if you will be carrying it far. It has a quick release plate with just a twist of a knob, very quick and easy to do. This is an all aluminum tripod, even the knobs are metal, no plastic parts. Everything on this tripod is very smooth in movement, the ball heads flows very smoothing. This tripod is super heavy duty and sturdy. It is very easy to have it be a regular tripod.. monopod.. to invert the center column for macro shooting. The legs can be put into 3 different positions instead of the normal 2. The legs have 3 twist locks on them and they have rubber feet on them. It does have a center stability hook that can be used for weights or to hang your camera bag on. This tripod is super easy to use. It does come with an extender, a double sided bolt that is needed for when you use it as a monopod and a little instruction sheet.

Great tripod
UPDATING THE BELOW REVIEWI was contacted by Zomei regarding the problem I had with the tripod. They offered to send a free replacement, which I accepted of course. I received the tripod today, and am happy to say that it works perfectly. Prompt, excellent customer service, fast shipping of replacement, and great tripod. This will make filming my videos so much easier with being able to do overhead shots. Just what I needed.Totally disappointed in this tripod. I felt ok getting this because of all of the good reviews. Received yesterday and am sending back today. One of the legs is jammed. The first section came out with great difficulty; the second section I was able to pull out maybe half an inch and it would come no further. The third section, I can't even turn the plastic piece to try to slide it out. Super bummed this is defective. I am debating ordering the same one since other than the leg it is what I am looking for, or just try another brand.

Average Tripod, Cool features
I Honestly expected a higher quality tripod for the price. It feels similar to another tripod I have that only cost me $40. I was going to return it but it has enough features that precludes me from doing that. The other tripod I have is very basic. It has the same type of leg assembly except the detachable leg for monopod. It also has a ball head with horizontal fluid panning. The reason I decided to keep it is because the head on this has better fluid panning, is compatible with other quick release plates I've acquired over the years, and I like how low you can get with this thing. You can get really low without having to go upside down. I also like it for the Center Column Transverse Mechanism. I love that idea! It has fluid panning on that too. The thing about the monopod conversion is that you have to have a wrench in your bag to attach the screw that comes with it. I wish there was a way to have the screw in the leg but the post on the base of the tripod isn't concave. So you have to install it and remove it when you're done. But still, It's nice to have the option. The collar nut is also a bit finicky. It tightens very softly so it takes a while to tighten it all the way. All in all, it's a decent tripod. You're paying the extra money for the Center Column Transverse Mechanism and the good quality ball head. But if you you aren't interested in that, you may want to save your money. Or spend the same amount on a basic high quality tripod. The Center Column Transverse Mechanism may be enough to get you to buy it. I don't believe it's just a gimmick. It's a useful feature. Peace!

A Beast Of a Tripod
When i Bought my camera it came with a bundle which made the deal more enticing because you get all this cool stuff for the normal price of a DSLR, one of those things was a tripod and it wasn't the strongest tripod in the world and for two years it served its purse you know. This tripod right here puts that one to shame. I see now that it was complete trash because the weight of this one and the built quality are everything its at a perfect price point not too expensive an if you're alone a lot you can get a lot of angles out of it. this tripod is perfect for anyone one a budget or someone professioal

Great product, missing piece
Great product, and very sturdy. Worth the money spent. But product came with a missing protecting foam on one of the legs. I don’t think it’s a reason to return it, but it’s still annoying that it was missing.

Small weak plastic piece ruins great tripod.
It's a very nice and sturdy tripod and I would give it 5 stars but unfortunately after only two uses this piece of plastic broke and now it can't be locked in place causing my camera to pan left/right freely.
