The design of this expending system does not provide enough contact surface to spread the energy inside the handle bar when stressed during a fall. So the bolt bend easily. To be fair other similar designs got even smaller diameter bolts so I guess it's not that bad. Glad I found replacement parts for it. In case you saved the expending part, the bolt can be replaced by a size M8 with 1.25 thread pattern.

JFGのハンドガードのアップデートに購入しました。 「当たればくるくる回る＆締めればボルトがひしゃげる」と不安になったので。 ジータのハンドガードマウントとセットで更新しました。（JFGのバーとガードだけ流用です） ◎良い点 ・しっかり留まります ・ボルトもひしゃげません ・安い ・マルチにサイズ対応 ▽気になった点 ・無し 目立たないパーツですが強度アップは安心につながりました。 今回はハンドガードマウントと同時交換したので「回らない」構造となり、その部分の検証はできませんでしたが。 ギュッと締め込める感覚は既存のものとは全く違いしっかりしていました。 中華製ハンドガード利用中の方にもおススメです。
