Babies look into the colors and it can attract them with no effects. Good for a tummy time and make sure you clean every time before and after use, maybe small residue or particles can trap in between the gaps.

I bought this for baby’s tummy time. It was easy to inflate with air and water. The first time I used it, I filled it with warm water so my baby didn’t do tummy time so much, he just lay on it enjoying the warmth. It is very soft and colourful with moving fish inside, and it’s very good value for money. I just wish it was a little bigger because my baby doesn’t completely fit on it, so now I just place it on top of a play-gym so the baby is still on top of something other than the carpet. Would recommend.

I personally would not recommend this mat. We filled ours up as directed on the instructions, and bits of white appear in the water, like glue? I emptied the mat out, refilled and the same again. I even took the mat over to my Mother's house in case it was something with our water but it did the exact same there. We complained and the company did send us out two more mats but we have not used them. Our baby is 3 months old and it is not big enough to lay a baby on their front comfortably. We laid our baby on their back and it's ok for about 3 minutes, then you notice your babies back will be really cold. You'd need to keep topping up with warmer water to use for longer and to be honest even then our baby didn't look that comfortable on the mat and wasn't interested in being on it.
