excellent pastel markers
Tombow markers are always worth buying. It's unusual to get pale colors in a marker set, so I was happy to add this set to my existing markers. These markers produce smooth colors, the tips stay sharp, and the caps fit well.

Amazing!!!!!
I don't use my markers for super artistic endeavors. I use these mostly for coloring books, but they're amazing quality for a decent price. Absolutely would recommend.

Exactly as shown on the package
The colors of the pen caps are representative of the colors of the ink. The colors are delicate and good for portrait work.

Works nicely but not advertised correctly
The pastel set that I wanted was not what I received. There's one minor difference between the pastel palette set and another Tombow pastel set which was the one I wanted. Basically, both have the same colors except one; the Tombow pastel set that is shown on Amazon contains the color N95 but the set that was sent to me contained a colorless blender. I later realized these were two different sets when I checked on Michael's. Be careful when you order the pastel set. If you don't mind the difference then both sets will contain the same colors with the exception of the cool grey. I should have been more careful reading the reviews because people who purchased the pastel set mention using the blender. The markers themselves were fine though. I had no issue with them and I enjoyed the colors of this set. As others have mentioned, they might pill paper but I expected as much since they are water based. To prevent the issue, wait for the markers to dry on the paper before going over with another layer. Otherwise the paper will start to rub away. It states on the package that it's blendable but the colors won't meld into each other the way alcohol markers do. The colorless blender also doesn't really do a good job of blending and tends to wear the paper more than it helps. In my opinion, it's better to lay down color and quickly blend it out with water from a brush or the pentel water pens.Overall, I think it's a good set for beginners who want to dabble with markers, learn lettering or use for coloring books. Just mostly beware that you might end up with a different set than advertised.

Beginner Friendly, Easy to use.
Beginner-friendly and super easy to use! The ink lasts a long time and doesn’t run out quickly, which is a big plus. My only complaint is that it’s a bit pricey for what you get. Still, if you’re just getting started, it’s a solid pick. I also really like the variety of the colours.

Good for Anything
I love this product because they are easy to use and have many different color variations. I use this product for my note-taking at university, and they glide on paper easily. I highly recommend this product for artsy people and for people who like to make their notes pop.
