Madden NFL 10 - Playstation 3

I am the first person to bash the Madden series every year because of dashed expectations. But this year, they really took a giant leap forward. This is the best Madden since the Super Nintendo days. What makes it a great installment are the much improved graphics, the increased AI, the improved running game, the more realistic pass defense, and the SLIDERS!! Most of all the sliders. You can change any aspect of the game, on both sides of the ball. You can even change the speed of the game if you want to see each play develop more slowly, so play action passes actually have the potential to work for a change. My favorite slider is the "speed threshold". This widens the gap between slow lineman and quick running backs. No longer will Adrian Peterson be caught from behind by a defensive end. You can really see the ratings and differences in players shine through this year. If you have your third string QB in the game, he will struggle with accuracy. Good runners break tackles, and good linebackers make tackles. You will actually notice an improved awareness on star players. Injuries are much improved as well this year. If your QB has a sore elbow, you make the decision to play him or not at his dimished ability. You have control over every single aspect of this game. If you don't like it out of the box, tweak it to perfection. EA finally gave the player full control to make the game the way THEY want it. I'm in my third season of franchise mode and I the only possible complaint I can offer is that in one game I had three kickoffs run back against me. But A) it never happened again and B) my special teams is horrible. It took awhile but they nailed it this season.

WHEN MY SON AND I USED TO PLAY SPORTS GAMS TOGETHER WHEN HE WAS A KID AND SINCE I GOT MY 83 INCH 3D 1080P TV WITH THE PLAY STATION 3 WE HADN'T PLAY ANYTHING BUT GIUTAR HERO. NOW WE STARTED PLAYING SPORTS GAMES AGAIN. I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR BRINGING THAT BACK TO MY SON AND MYSELF. WE GOT THE X-BOX 360 1ST, BECAUSE MY FRIENDS SAID BECAUSE OF HALO IT WAS BETTER. WE WERE A PLAYSTATION FAMILY ONLY. WE WON'T MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN. wE ARE NOW A PLAYSTATION FAMILY AGAIN AND THIS GAME IS TRULY AWESOME, SPECTACULAR, OUTSTANDING AND GGGGRRRRREEEAAAAAATTT!!!!!!

I got this game for 4.00. Amazingly, I think this game holds up perfectly today here in 2013. If you don't care abut updated rosters (but you can edit them anyway) this is still a very fun game. I actually prefer it over 11, 12 and even 13. It's just more polished. Make sure you patch it if you can. I was worried Sony couldn' patch this old game, but if you put the disc in and play, it should automatically patch it up before you play. Mind you, without the patch, this game is pretty buggy, so it's pretty important you to patch it. If you need to patch, I recommend doing it on auto. Setup your auto patching in the system settings of the PS3 and let it do automatically. I have mine to setup autoupdates at 2am in the morning. I tried to install this patch manually and it never would complete. So keep that in mind when wanting to patch. auto is your best bet. Or doing it very early in the morning with less traffic. The game plays smoothly, graphics are great, commentary great and it's just a great playing football game. The original guys from Tiburon made this game. After it was released, they left E.A. You'll see when playing it the time they took to make this game. It's very fun. I like it a lot.

ok, Madden is the best football series of all time in my opinion, but there are some issues that I want to be fixed. I'd like to have a wider field view option in which the players are smaller. secondly, it upsets me when on-line opponents call an on-side kick, and you have to call a time out because you can't remember the buttons to reset to a regular kick off return. another complaint is the accelerated clock while playing on-line. if I see the defense is calling a run defense, I'll audible to a different package and the time runs out. I pretty much have to audible to the preset audibles, and not the ones I choose because I will get a delay of game call. lastly, the fight for the ball always seems to favor the defense because when the offensive team fumbles, there seems to be a shock to the player on offense (at least with me). the fight for the ball and accelerated clock feature really take away a lot in my opinion.

i thought they would fix the freezing problem. but its still freezes on NFL superstar mode. try to avoid this game series with the original ps3 like the last game but not as loud you can hear the disk spinning like a jig saw blade on the ps3 slim you don't hardly hear the disk spin.another problem i had was the ultimate team new feature.it revolves around you getting NFL player cards.you start out with 2 packs and i believe each pack holds 8 to 9 cards.and each player has a ten game contract.what happens to the card after the 10 games it is destroyed.and every game gives you about 400 coins.and the card packs are labeled bronze(500 coins)silver(1500 coins)gold(3000)and platinum(9000). i played this for 9 games.half way through those 9 games i bought a silver pack.which on the 9th game i would get the number of coins to buy a bronze pack they didn't give me the coins the game said i earned.so i sold my players to get money to pay for a bronze pack to get the number of superstars i needed to be able to play.when i sold them it said it was giving me coins but it didn't.so now because of a glich i cant play ultimate teams unless i buy a pack or packs of cards from the PlayStation store.thats the bad.the good is it has great game play on franchise mode and superstar mode and its extremely addictive.

This IMO is the best Madden ever! Great quality game. The disc is in immaculate condition and the game is very enjoyable. Thank you!

El juego tardó en llegar un poco pero no he tenido ningún problema con el producto. El juego es complicado si no tienes ni idea de este deporte, pero no tardarás en aprender los mecanismos y poder disfrutar.

息子と親の対戦ですが、コミニュケーションとれて、ゲームでなかなか良好な親子関係を保ててます。

普通のマッデン プレーする分には問題ないかと 古い分引退した選手とかがいるのでそれに感動はするかな。

今まで何作か「MADDEN」シリーズをやってきましたが、やはり、最高ですね。 操作方法が少しずつ変わってきていますが、操作のしやすさはいつも通り。 何より映像がキレイで、本当の試合の映像を見てるような感じになります！ 素晴らしいゲーム！オススメです！
