This seller is awesome!! I had my MRE’s in my home three days after I was purchased. Excellent deal!!! The quality of the product is excellent and the variety too. This type of food was our lifesaver during hurricane Maria crisis here in Puerto Rico. Believe me this product save us from starvation. This is excellent for this hurricane season. Thanks again to the seller a pleasure make Buisness with you. 100% recommended!!!!

Looks legit
I was in the Army in the last century and best as i can remember, the box as delivered looked exactly like "real" military issue MREs. I haven't broken it open yet to see the individual MREs, nor have I actually broken into and ate any of the original MREs, so I can't vouch for its legitimacy 100%. But on the surface, it looks "real" (as opposed to knock-off).I think all survival foods are overpriced in the first place, but relative to the market this product was priced fairly, in my opinion (at the time i bought it).I have concerns/worries/suspicions though as to its fitness. There is nothing with the product or its looks that make me think this, it is just my over-thinking things, but here goes:Expiration date. Okay, one cannot expect to get a box brand new from the manufacturer with an inspection or expiration date three of five years in the future. Obviously those are going stright to the military. So a frequent complaint with MRE purchases on the civilian market is "old" or "expired" MREs (meaning, they are practically useless for a disaster/survival situation because they expire tomorrow).I am NOT saying the shipment i recieved is old or expired. However, I think the "Inspection Date" on mine was like 18 months in the future. So here's the rub. Issued MREs have instructions to the military logisticians not to discard simply because the inspection date has passed. "IF" the were stored under controlled conditions. So my question is, how do these erstwhile still valid MREs make it onto the civilian market, assuming they are legit military issue MREs (which these visually appear to be)???Either, some military logistician rejected a batch, or disposed of a batch because of cause (one wonders, what exactly was that cause? Was this batch shipped to some overseas exercise but not consumed, then afterward it no longer met the "controlled storage" criteria so was disposed of?) Or did the factory make too mayn and the Army not buy all the batch?Where did these real MREs come to the market place if not expired?Inquiring minds want to know.I'll update this review someday when we bust it open and have to eat it for some natural disaster (or, zombies, but then the interwebs will probably be down in that case).

Great Value, but tasty meals are hit or miss
Exactly what you'd expect, and a fantastic value. A few meals are pretty great, a few are really awful, most are simply adequate. Great for camping if you're not worried about your taste buds.

MRE (Just like the Military Issued)
Quality, packing and durability is perfect. Great for survival and when we were going thru the food shortages. It was my last line of defense for my family if we needed to leave our home. Highly recommend to have a few cases for your home and vehicle. Especially in these crazy times!

Excellent for emergency
I recommend everyone have 4 or 5 of these is your storage area. Just for emergency. Better to have and not need than to need and not have.

No quality issues found
I tested one of the meals, and everything worked. My veteran family member could not tell the difference between these and ones he used in the military (it has been a while though).

Hey It's Food
Got this for if I get stuck somewhere. I drive 500 miles to see my Brother and if I break down, I have no clue as to how long till someone gets to me. I already carry enough water, so this is just something extra that's nice. I hear these are a lot better than what I used to get 25 years ago. Plus, because they're about 3000 calories I split what I got with my Brother, he runs around in the desert too and really 3000 calories are too much for people our age, got to remember, these are combat rats, nothing more, nothing less.

Great Product
Was delivered quickly and as advertised. Inspected 2019, good for 5 years (at least). Was in Army for 8 years and is the closest you’re going to get to the issued MREs.
