My son and my grandson are going to be Rick and Morty this year, and this portal gun is perfect, because otherwise, the kid would just have a yellow t-shirt and jeans. :) It's well made, i didn't even see that it actually had batteries and lit up, so tat was an additional bonus.

it doesn't come with a screw driver to open the battery pack. other then that it's worth the buy

I purchased this C-137 Portal Gun as impulse buy and clearly that was a mistakeThe light on top is Green which means I should be able to engage in Interdimensional Travel, not just boring Universe Travel. But, NOTHING. Here I am, ready to get shwifty with some Gazorpazorps and I get NOTHING. NADA. I’m still in my boring office in this boring universe.I thought this Portal Gun was my ticket to freedom and adventure. Sadly, I was duped. This thing is only useful as a costume prop or conversation piece. Do not purchase if you are expecting to be transported to other dimensions.

It says in the description that there's supposed to be light AND sound. You get a small projection of a dimly lit portal, but there's no sound at all. If you look at the last photo it not only says that it's supposed to make sound, but it's supposed to be a chrome special edition portal gun with light and sound. You get a grey plastic portal gun with a little tube on the top that glows green. There's a large round button that you click once for on an twice for off. The "portal" projection is very dim and works best in complete darkness on a highly reflective white wall.It's a little disappointing.*Update*I've had it for a while now and I've got to add some things. The toy itself is built pretty solid, and it doesn't drain your batteries which is a major bonus! It's actually been useful a couple of times for finding stuff in the dark, because I know exactly where I sit it and can find it easier than a flashlight. I was a little rough in my first review, but it's grown on me. It's a neat decoration that has come in really handy, the seller could have advertised it correctly and gotten a better rating.

Very pleased. Arrived on time in good condition. My son who is 5 is obsessed with the game portal. I cant find a portal game gun for him for a reasonable amount of money. Soooo since i love rick and morty and hes watched it a few times, he agreed this would be a good portal gun. I didnt even know it projected portals when i bought it. Clearly that was a pleasant surprise! Now he wants to b rick and morty for halloween so im a happy parent. The only negative i could say is it takes aaa which not many people have anymore but i did so

I bought this to sit on a shelf next to few other things. And I guess if the Rick that owned this was from the great value, or temu universe it would be great. There were two on here to pick from and this was the cheaper one and it shows. $20 vs. $30. I went with this one because the handle on this looked better and was at a better angle. And the portal fluid in the other one was a too oversized. But that is where the positives end.The portal fluid on this one is just a sticker and it's not out in very well. Mine has wrinkles in it. The button does function it sends a very tiny projection of a portal. It also lights up the dome and the red area. I thought there was be a sound when the button is pressed but there isn't. And the button is an on/off The front has two really cheap stickers. And should be sunken in more. If you are looking for cheap prop to go with your costume this might be for you. If you want it to look cool in your collection this might not be for you. If it was half the price I would be happier. It still might go back. If I do decide to keep it. There will have to be some serious modifications.
