Now this may sound odd, but I do mean it, something I really, really, like about this, is the fact that it has little “sucker cups”(see pic 12) on the bottom, which keeps it sat perfectly in place, and stop me knocking it over, personal thing because one of my arms twitches, so the ability to hold this firmly in place, while I use it, is awesome.So once I have this in place, using it is super simple, the top “hopper” holds more than enough “Coffee Beans” for me to grind more than I need to at any one time. As for the “Grinds” themselves, its super easy to set the level of grind, from fine to coarse, and the “Collecting cup”(see pic 11) that slots in, catches it all very well, the top of it, has a lid that makes a perfect join, so nothing is spilt.Setting the actual level, is as easy as just turning the “Top hopper”, to the setting I want, then I just turn the chromed dial(see pic 9) to start and run it.I think the thing I like about this, is that it does a great job of grinding, simply, it just isn't a load of messing about, which I really like, and then when I’m done, cleaning it is quick too, I just use the brush to clean off the “Grinding gear”, and then simply was both “Tubs”, job done.I like the feel of this over all, it feels well made, solid, and works well.

This coffee grinder gives me the freshest coffee possible each and every time. Very easy to set up and use for the first time, it grinds my beans consistently. It is very neat so there's no mess it grinds every last bit up and quickly too.Overall, I am happy with the product. It is inexpensive, very easy to clean and would make a nice gift.

To be clear, this is a conical burr grinder (which I am not sure is clear in the instructions) which I have always found are touted as the best for flavour. So straight away, that's a plus point.The unit seems reasonably well made, and aside from the rather basic and functional design, there's a few nice features -1. There are suction cups on the feet to stop the product dancing around, and keeping it in place. Great idea!2. The mouth of the bean hopper is really wide! Our old grinder had a little square opening the size of a postage stamp and was awful!3. Operation is super simple: Only really two controls to worry about - set how coarse you want your grind, and then set how much you want!Now some things that weren't so good...* The product is pretty noisy. I am talking dog-scaring noisy!* The main "how much do you want" dial seems to be a standard clockwork timer mechanism!* Cleaning is frustrating* Inconsistent coarsenessOverall, for the price, this isn't a bad product. Our old grinder (a wedding present) was quite an expensive unit and also had its flaws - but to be fair it had a much more consistent result.The main thing is, the product does what it states, and the coffee tastes good. My main concern is how long it will last! I'd hope for at least 2 to 3 years... our old unit lasted us nearly 15 years!

We wanted a reliable grinder for grinding coffee beans as we are daily coffee drinkers. Sadly, this one gave up on us after the first try... We used it a bit, so I'll mention some good qualities, but it couldn't cope with grinding our beans in the end.Pros:- Nice aesthetic- Large capacity hopper- Wide range of grind settingsCons:- Motor burnt out on third use- Timer operationThe Good (short-lived):This grinder is a burr grinder, ideal for precise grinding, and looks great. It's compact and fits perfectly on the kitchen counter. The hopper's capacity is just right; it doesn't hold an entire bag of beans, preventing them from drying out and going stale.The Bad:Feature-wise, my partner uses a manual espresso press, allowing complete customisation of his shots. This demanded a grinder accommodating a broad range of grind settings. However, this grinder's mechanism measures grind time rather than weight or quantity, making it tricky to grind the precise amount of coffee needed.Sadly, this grinder burned out after only the third use. It seemed to struggle moving the ground coffee away from its burr cylinder, leading to overheating. While it produced one proper coffee, it couldn't maintain the consistency my partner required.In our scenario, it's likely a faulty unit rather than a widespread issue, but still, I can't give it a good review because of this, which is a shame.

Grinder looks brilliant and therefore I have it as a permanent item on the kitchen worktop. The speed is ok and the settings for the different grades are easy to comprehend.The grinder is quiet and easy to clean and maintain.A great item for coffee lovers.

Keeps getting blocked up and difficult to clean. I returned it and bought a cheaper one which works great
