My first impressions of this set are that it is smaller than expected. LOL Surprise dolls I've seen before are bigger than this one where the doll figure in this set is around 7cm high (and box about 14cm high as per image attached to review). However that is fine, and if I'd bought from a shop rather than getting online through Amazon I would have been aware of the size. My second impression is that this is LOL Surprise, but there is no surprise with what you are getting here, whereas with the LOL Surprise blind packs you don't know. But I prefer the surprise element taken away because you know exactly what you are getting here. And you avoid getting doubles. Plus the nature of this set is better that it is not a surprise. This set is a LOL Surprise House of Surprises set. It is our first but from the back of the box (which you can see on the last of the Amazon product images) there are others. The actual house comes separate and is expensive, but you can use this set to furnish any doll's house room, or just use outside of a doll's house. I also like that the set has a few accessories with it so that it has plenty of play value in that respect. Lastly I like that the "Her Majesty" doll is not white, because there are some doll brands which aren't very diverse and don't reflect society, but no issues here with LOL Surprise dolls. This is a lovely little playset which arrives in a nicely printed box measuring approx 17cm x 10cm x 14.5cm. It would be very easy to wrap & make a lovely gift, either as a standalone playset or as an addition to the OMG House of Surprises. As the front, sides & top of the box are clear, you can see the contents laid out inside the box before you open it. As well as a Her Majesty water surprise doll, complete with golden tiara, you get a vanity table with mirror, a hairdressers chair with hood dryer, a hairdryer, a 'brush', a soda can (which matches her sash) and some 'make up' with a stand. Everything is nicely made to the usual LOL Surprise line standards. This is a nice little playset even if the child you are buying it for doesn't have any others yet, complete with a doll.

I don't see the attraction of these LOL dolls myself, but my 6 year old grand-daughter assures me that they are really cool and she has a massive collection of them. This one is a 'Beauty Booth' which contains the doll together with lots of make-up accessories, a dressing table and hair salon chair. It doesn't look as though you can actually style the doll's hair, but I guess this is the charm of 'make-believe'. It certainly keeps the children amused anyway. This set is part of a collectible house with various rooms. She was delighted with it. The cost of £15 is about what you would expect to pay for a present for a child's birthday - not that I'm saying it's good value for money, but it is worth it in the playing time for the child.

LOL surprise beauty booth An adorable mini LOL surprise set. A beauty booth with a gorgeous 'your highness' mini LOL doll to go with it. The doll is beautiful, roughly 8cm tall. The set comes with the usual surprises to open, these include a beauty salon chair, with a hairdryer on and a drawer on the side. A vanity desk, with two drawers and a mirror. You have lipstick, a drink, a hairdryer, hair brush, make up tool holder and 3 make up tools. So a good few little pieces too. I would recommend this set, the girls went nuts for it, so I can't deny that they do bring a lot of joy. They are adorable little sets.

Assuming you can get into this - there's a lot of tape and glue and plastic - your child will probably go completely wild when they get this. Our granddaughter ran down the stairs shouting "I absolutely love it!". And she does. The doll can be even be "fed" using the bottle. She filled it with water and squeezed it into the doll's mouth and then made the doll "cry", which was more like forcing jets across the kitchen floor from her eyes. Our granddaughter thinks this is hilarious. There are lots of beauty accessories, all of which our five year old recognised. Honestly, you're unlikely to go wrong, and compared to some of the stuff out there it's not even that expensive.

Good quality and comes with a lot of accessories. Great value for the money. My four year old plays with this set all of the time.
