Well made - Drives Like a Bosch Motor at a Fraction of the Money
This is a great DIY kit. The Tongsheng motor's main differentiator is that pedal assist is activated by torque sensing (pressure on the pedals) vs cadence (just turning cranks). It gives a very natural feel when riding similar to top of the line Bosch motors. I have had both Bafang and Tongsheng kit and vastly prefer the Tongsheng. With the Tongsheng you really don't need throttle, brake or shift sensors.

Salve, ho montato questo kit su una vecchia bici OTTOBICI 28' in alluminio, facile da montare, se non avevo problemi a smontare le vecchie ghiere dei pedali avrei perso al massimo un'oretta di lavoro, mancava il manuale di settaggio del display-controller ma è facile da trovare online dove ci sono anche video tutorial. Provato per una decina di chilometri in salite molto ripide visto che abito in un paese di montagna, nessun problema in qualsiasi settaggio anche su eco va bene, visto l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo consiglio a tutti questo kit per trasformare la vostra vecchia bici. Non andavo in bici da quarant' anni e penso che ora la userò quasi ogni giorno.

Good basic motor. Some things to consider
Easy to convert my '96 vintage mongoose mountain bike. Biggest issue was mounting points on the tube frame. Needed 2 "rivnuts". Motor is 500w and in full power mode gives a nice boost to my commute. Half power is good for level travel on paved surface. Have put on 200kms and have experienced that the control display does not come with instructions on how to set options, but there is information available online through other posters. Make sure the bike is motionless when powering up system or power level is lower than normal. I have gotten about 60kms on a charge, but I'm not conservative with economy modes (I like 3/4 - full power). Different battery may have different range results. Plan to try it on off-road trails, will update once I get out there.

No son 500w ni en broma. Ni siguiera 350, 250 como mucho.
Potencia inferior a la anunciada. Lo compre por 260 gastos de envió incluido. A ese precio, no esta mal.
