Very impressed that this is not a rip off.
I actually purchased both products that are on this page. For the rulers, there's not a whole lot to say - they are as advertised and the finish is pretty nice. There are some not-quite right areas, like how they didn't chamfer the cutout making it a little sharp, and the sliders don't all fit very well onto the rulers in order to stand them up. But over all, they're pretty good for the price.More interesting though is the protractor/angle finder. I've seen other knock-offs of Woodpeckers In-Dexable system that are clearly just plastic garbage. But this thing is, surprisingly, pretty legit! Before I go further though, I must point out the biggest downside of this product compared to what it's knocking-off: There is no "indexable" feature, despite the blade having the cutout circles along the middle, there is no way to lock the rule at one-inch increments as the Woodpeckers version can. That limits your ability to scribe accurately with the scribing notches unless you line it up carefully. But on to the good: The blade and body both appear to be aluminum, the finish is pretty nice and smooth, there's nothing oily or gummy anywhere and the mechanism moves easily. The marking are pretty accurate, and it has scribing notches down to 16ths and markings on one of the edges down to the 32nds. One of the edges is also metric, though the scribing notches are for the imperial sides so I'm not really sure why they included that. I think the ruler itself is pretty nice without the head, and with it you have some great angle marking abilities.A couple areas that I don't love though: The two set screws on the bottom to lock the angle are a bit fiddly, you really have to give them a good twist to get them nice and locked down. There are also no positive stops for any of the angles, so you have to be sure to line the blade up with the edge of the line marking the degree you want in order to set it accurately. Lastly, the whole thing is pretty bulky, the ruler is about 1.5" wide and it's over 17" long. That is of course useful, but I didn't really anticipate just how big it would be.Over all, for the price this seems pretty nice. I was expecting the worst and prepared to have to return it, but I've been pleasantly surprised. The rulers were also pretty good, not perfect, but satisfactory.

Amazing
I am in love with these. I can’t say how they compare to other brands but, by themselves, these are some of the most useful tools I’ve ever bought. Can’t believe I was using a measuring tape for so long instead of these. They are incredible for more accurate measuring but also used as a repeatable gauge. They’re also a fantastic value and very well built for the price!

Aluminum -- so not magnetic
They are accurate, and the slide on mine are certainly not going to slip. My mistake for hoping they would be magnetic. Don't make the same mistake

Accurate, well made, easy to to use and really handy to have in the shop.
I've used this set countless times and it's really proven to be highly worthwhile, very effective and the price was hard to beat.Being a rather poor chap, I simply can't afford the higher-end products, wish I could, but hey, you've gotta work with what you've got and as money isn't high on my priority list versus a wonderful quality of life with my wife, this set was within my small budget without compromising quality.I would recommend this set.

Well made, very useful, well made
I think I paid more for the 6” Kreg than I did for all three of these and I had to make a daughter attachment so extend the reach of the kreg. These are fantastic but I’d buy another set if they were half the width.

Finally, a set of these useful rules done right!
I have carried and used a pocket rule since I was an engineering student over 60 years ago. My original thin Stainless steel 'Picket' rule has been replaced by a heavier 'Starrett' rule, but the breast pocket rule remains an essential tool for me. Some 20 to 30 years ago now, at a woodworking show, I saw (and bought) a "Paolini" Pocket rule. That rule was visually similar and functionally identical to these rules, except that I chose to buy the 'imperial' version rather than the 'imperial/metric' version. I quickly realized that the 8" and 12" versions would be nearly as useful, but not useful enough to justify the large expense. I don't recall the price then, but today my 6" version sells for $35. This entire set was less than $24. and has the advantage of a metric scale on each rule.A few years ago I bought an east Asian made set similar to this one, but not as well designed. The manufacturer clearly did not understand all the uses of the notched sliding cursor and the 'window' in the body of each rule. They worked and gave me the capabilities I wanted, but they weren't quite right.Last week I saw this set and another seemingly identical set on Amazon. I ordered the other set because it came with a nice case. Wrong choice! It had scales on only one face of the rules, and the window was too small to allow the cursor to be inserted without removing the screws. I initiated a return for that one and ordered this set. This set is ideal! It has scales in sixteenths and thirty-seconds of an inch and in millimeters. All cursor and window functions work easily. Scales are well engraved and in contrasting color. And, the price is a real bargain.

Great value for the money and are very accurate.
I'm not a purist, so maybe not the best to comment on an item some folks are worth spending hundreds of dollars on. I don't rely on measurements much. I use referential measurements wherever possible. Using, for example, a piece of scrip to setup this tool (that I use for marking), they work very well. Very much worth more than I paid for how useful they have been.
