Ranma 1/2 - TV Series Set 5 Standard Edition (BD) [Blu-ray]

I had to look five times to make sure I was reading this price right. I grew up in a time where they'd sell anime in those 4 episode DVD sets for like $25 each, so by the time you completed a season you were spending upwards of $200. Compared to that, this is an absolute steal. I was delighted to discover how many episodes you get for the price. Comes with both audios and thankfully is pretty bare-boned so there are no bells and whistles to overcharge for. Just the episodes you want and nothing else -- just how I like it.SUPER impressed. Can't wait to collect the other volumes.

Has both English and jap with English subtitles. Not really family oriented with minor fan service

If like me you are a fan of this anime, this Ranma 1/2 TV Series are a MUST HAVE: remastered, fullHD in original TV 4:3 format, japanese voices (also english), subtitles, full color booklet with episode list, extras... you will never get a best quality picture version of this anime (in fact, this is the same as the last BluRay japanese edition but with voices, subtitles, menus... localized to english). And this is a limited edition so get it while it lasts or you will regret it!

Everything was great except the product came damaged. It was sealed and looks brand new, but the blu-ray case inside of the box was damaged inside. I opened it for the first time and little blue pieces fell out. the hinge that the discs reside on was broken. Kind of a bummer but it looks like that was just bad luck. I've bought the previous box sets and they all came undamaged as far as I could tell.

I was so glad to get this at a great price rather than the inflated retail prices. Love the box art and the quality of the discs are perfect. If you'd like a review of the season just read some of the other reviews on here.

Loved watching this series when I was young. So glad I can just slowly collect them as I can afford it. Yay Amazon!

Love the Ranma Series, one of the best if not the best Anime Series in the past few 30 years. I will enjoy this blue ray series for years to come! Love how they give you some extra goodies too!

If only I could turn off the subtitles then I would enjoy the dvd all the more.

I now own Seasons 1-5 of Ranma 1/2. The box sets are beautiful, very well packaged and from Amazon, extremely well priced. The preorder discount is especially worth having if you decide to buy them before they are released. The BluRay collections are well compiled, with very decent picture quality and sound. I definitely can't wait to have the whole series on my shelf.

Ranma has always been one of my favorite anime series, and now it is beautifully remastered on blu-ray. Awesome!!!
