When it’s unplugged, will it turn on automatically when plugged back in or will it not turn on until power button is pressed?

It's battery powered as well as plug in. Think it has 4 settings. When you turn off make sure red ghost blinky doesn't blink. It's a great item. But at 30.00 was a little overpriced. Always needs button pressed for batteries. Guess plug works with your phone too, can't answer that one.

Can you hang this light on a wall?

The only way this will go on the wall is if you have a shelf. There are no holes for screws for support. This is designed for a TV stand or desk/table.

Don't you know there are four ghosts? Where's the fourth ghost?

This is a great light regardless of how many ghosts there are!

If you press the (on) button, does it stay in the (on) position? (will this work with an amazon alexa?)

Not sure about using it with alexa.
