They wonder how this beauty can love a horrid beast. 🤭Despite Bianca’s disability that she acquired from an accident, she is always her true self. She has a strong stubborn personality. She is very protective of her young sister. Her love for Mikhail is absolutely amazing. She sees past the scars and sees caring, loving man. 🥹Mikhail has been through so much, I just want to hug and cry for him. He is a big teddy bear. Protective, possessive, and compassionate man. He was already obsessed with Bianca from her ballerina days, and we love when he is obsessed. His love for his daughter is does something to my heart. Lena is a personality for sure. Their interactions are one of my favorites. 🥹Both Mikhail and Bianca’s interactions are so cute and domestic is hard not to love. Their love is passionate and heartfelt. This was definitely my top book in the series.🔥The plot is amazing. The journey the character took to fall in love breaks and puts my heart together.❤️‍🩹I am excited to know more of them. The book flowed so well I didn’t feel rushed or confused. Loved all the characters! The book is a 5 star read! I definitely recommended this book to several people. It’s a MUST read for everyone.⭐️

Mikhail has an incredibly tortured past. I knew the story would be bad, but it definitely brought tears to my eyes when I heard it. I think the biggest surprise for me about Mikhail was Lena. Completely unexpected. I loved it. Bianca is complex. She is smart and strong and born in a world where men rule and she is forced to comply. I love her. And I love Mikhail and Bianca together. I love the true family that they find together.Loving this series and anxious to keep going for more.

Mikhail must win the prize for the most scarred, ruined, unhinged, mangled characters in romance. And even tho she can’t speak, Bianca is one of the most expressive.When we meet Mikhail, aka the Bratva Butcher, he cannot bear to be touched. The women who lure him to bed must abide by strict rules: remove only enough clothes to get off, strictly from behind, and no touching of any kind. For very good reasons.His work is “information extraction” so it’s wonderfully ironic that he has become obsessed by a woman who is unable to speak. On one hand his “work” is brutal interrogation, on the other hand we see the intense, nearly silent way he communicates with Bianca. He is always composed, cold, and a man of few words. It blows me away how the passionate near-silence magnifies the story’s tension more than even the best dirty talk. They only see each other.“I love when you pretend you’re docile.” He whispers in my ear and starts unbuttoning my jeans.There is something electric about a romance between two people who are closed off and yet have an instant crackling connection.Highly recommended. CW for scenes of brutal violence and off-page story of SA. Consent between the lovers is 100% enthusiastic.

I stumbled across this series on TikTok and I am not disappointed!!! I’ve been binge reading them over the past week between audio and reading as we work on some remodeling in our house. I love this series.So let’s get on into Bianca and Mikhail! First off I think the mental health and disabilities of these two were beautifully represented. Bianca lost her voice in a tragic accident and is now mute, Neva did an amazing job representing that. Bianca is super feisty! I wished she could have spoke up to others who constantly told her her husband was a monster, but again in a way she did set that record straight when she kissed him and made it known she doesn’t believe that. She was put in an arranged marriage to spy on her new husband, however Bianca’s father is a horrible man and she goes against him. She refuses to betray her husband for her father, even before she’s fallen for him.Mikhail doesn’t know what to do with this information, Bianca is young and Mikhail is damaged, he has several scars and wears an eye patch, not to mention he is a single father. He didn’t tell Bianca this at first as he wants to see her reaction, but Bianca bonds with the child and teaches her to dance.This story is beautiful, we do get some mafia action but it doesn’t over power the whole story, but it’s also very active in the mafia world. The main story is watching Bianca fall for Mikhail and watching Mikhail fall right back probably twice as hard.Mikhail doesn’t believe he is good enough for her, he believes he’s hideous and this ticks her off until she has had enough and decided listen I’m sick of you hiding from me. These two are so sweet together! They will definitely be one of my top couples in the series I believe.

I enjoyed this book but i found it a bit vanilla. It’s an arranged marriage. Really liked the characters just found it a bit vanilla. Would i recommend? Yes, it’s a good quick read.
