Make sure this is what you need.
This unit has a very specific use (it is used to make a solar panel a battery charger only) be sure you don't need a "solar controller " which also has a "load" connection. This unit appears well made and sealed however if it's going to be wet I'd seal where the wires come out (I don't trust this to be waterproof but it looks water resistant). Having the polarity converter is a must! Follow the wire color + red, - black. If the colors are reversed use the converter to correct this. This is used for making a solar panel (MAXIMUM 12V 100 A ) into a 12V battery charger/ maintainer to keep your battery fully charged while being stored. Well made and good value I'm very satisfied.

Good product!
Worked well until the water got inside and drained the battery. My installation was the problem.
