Graphic Products Mulberry Paper Scrap Pack by Black Ink Papers, Assorted

I was so looking forward to receiving this paper pack because the picture on the seller's page looked really pretty. However, when I received the actual pack, I could have literally cried with disappointment! The pack was thin and the papers within, though in pretty colours, were all plain. I could count exactly one piece of patterned paper! It was absolutely not worth the amount spent. I have requested for a refund and hope the seller will improve in transparent advertisement of products and giving value for money. Thank you.

Lots of small pieces of solid colour paper, very thin powdery (sorry I’m not describing it well) pieces, mediocre quality at best. Very, very few pieces of patterned paper contrary to the image in the photo. Lots of repeat pieces of yellow and white. Larger pieces were on outside of packing sandwiching smaller pieces in the middle thus making the package appear bulkier than it really was. Was probably worth what I paid but would not order again. Options for use are limited because of the excessive number of small pieces.

Reichhaltige Auswahl an verschiedenen Papieren, von dünn bis dick. Auch die Farben sind toll. Mit dem Produkt selbst bin ich voll und ganz zufrieden. Aber Vorsicht, die Sendung war nicht zollgerecht deklariert, musste extra zum Zollamt fahren und es persönlich abholen. Sowas ist einfach nur nervig !!

Beautiful workable Mulberry paper . Large bright sheets at a reasonable price. Gifted in a beautiful lime green pouch and a friendly postcard. Lovely!!!

These papers are so fun to use in art journaling and collage projects.For those who aren't familiar, the papers I received came in three different textures: there were smooth, medium thickness papers in various colors; there were rough, highly absorbent and translucent thin papers, and there were bumpy papers with variable thickness. The translucent are my favorites, as many of them have embedded materials that make them interesting and beautiful. I didn't count, but I probably received, in total, about 15-20 different kinds of papers. Most of them had repeats or small stacks, but a few were one of a kind. A few had printed patterns, and a few were completely solid and patternless. Most of the papers were in sizes about 3x3-ish, but they were not consistent. They are trimmings and leftovers, so the next pack I buy (and I definitely will buy more) will probably be entirely different.There are a few things you might want to know about mulberry paper itself before buying. It is not made from wood pulp as we know it in the west. It is hand made paper from one of several types of material, but it has a different consistency. If you cut it, it gives a crisp clean cut; but if you tear it, it feathers in a very interesting way. Gluing with a paintbrush also feathers the edges. It is much more absorbent than ordinary paper, and I believe most if not all was unsized. It dries quite quickly, and is much stronger than it would appear. I've read that it used to be used for fabric, though it is not woven. It is very, very nice for watercolor or ink, though probably only for brushed ink, as a regular pen wouldn't work well with the texture.One final note for scrapbookers, art journalists, and collagers: I think my favorite thing about this paper is that it doesn't curl at all when I glue it. It lies flat, exactly where I put it. This makes it a favorite for me, as I have had so very much problem with other papers curling and warping.
