Have been using this blender for over 10 years but the old one broke on the connection leaving me to buy a new one. New one arrived perfectly but I had managed to repair the old one- yippee!!! Now have new one as a spare. Research shows this particular blender is the best on the market - even better than the next best at nearly double the price. It blends most foods to a near pulp if required - level of blending easily controlled and being stainless steel does not degrade. Can blend even meats like beef!! - fish, chicken, pork is easy. All liquids a doddle to blend to the exact level required - leaving large down to small chunks in the blend - down to total liquid. Use it every day!!

Good quality gadget. Variable speed useful to reduce splashing. Easy to clean.

Good value for the money powerful tool to have in your kitchen

A bit bulkier than imagined but powerful and effective kitchen help!

Very difficult to take apart to wash the bladed half. I have smallish (not freakishly small - size 7 glove maybe?) hands and find the two-buttoned release either side of the stick incredibly hard to press inwards, especially when steam makes it slippy. It is not been a case of gently pressing and the bottom half simply falls away, I have to use my other hand to pull it apart. So, it's a two-handed struggle with no spare hand to safely hold the container-full-of-hot-liquid, which has proved not only annoying but dangerous for whatever body part is in the splash zone. Obviously I could messily drip the whole thing over to the kitchen sink to then take apart for washing up having first unplugged it from the wall, but would be far more convenient to be able to EASILY undo it over the container leaving the motor plugged in. Apart from all that... it works well and I do like the variable speed and hyper-blitz modes.

The turbo power sucked the bottom of the saucepan up - you need to be very careful when using it - a bit on the heavy side

If buying from Australia, you will need to buy a power adapter as the power plug is UK. Otherwise it's a good blender with variable speed options.

This product comes with a three-pronged UK wall plug, so I have not been able to use it as it does NOT fit the Australian electricity wall sockets. If you purchase this product, you will need to either purchase a suitable three-pronged UK adapter or get an electrician to cut off the UK plug and replace it with a standard two-pronged Australian plug for the 'live' and 'neutral' wires. The third prong on the UK plug does not have a wire for the 'earth' prong. NOTE: I have used this under 10/ten times since I bought it and it has already fallen apart. The rotor head and stick have come out of the handle! I tried to push it back, but it just came out again in my mix. I would LOVE a REFUND as this is really expensive...
