I have sun room adjacent to my eating area that does not have direct heating. However, the eating area has a HVAC vent next to the sun room. I inserted the temperature probe into the heating vent and set the controller to turn on a fan next to the vent at 90 degrees, then turn off at 80 degrees. This setup works perfectly and allows the fan to blow heated air into the sun room keeping it warm when the weather is cold outside.

I used this to keep their enclosure at the right temperature and lowered it by 5 degrees every week. It worked well the whole time, and was perfect for what I was using it for. I used it for about 5 weeks before I turned the lamp off completely.

I was hoping for and looking for a temperature controller that could also be made to go into "sleep" mode and not do anything during certain times of the day. This item does not have that function. However, as a simple temperature-based on/off controller, it is a good value with good adjustability. You'll need to take some time and patience to read and understand the instruction sheet. It can be switched form C to F temperature readings. And the temperature reading can be calibrated as needed if it's not giving the value that you expect.

Instructions are a bit sparse and changing from C to F is a pain but otherwise it works great so far - I use it as a temp activator for my attic fans and a small window AC unit - well worth the money

This is one of the few I saw that would do on off at a high set point for heat or for a low set point for cold

Once plugged in the display just kept cycling and did not allow for anything to be done.

GE 6000 btu window AC circuit board not working so bypassed it and using this as the thermostatic controller. Been doing good all summer.

I used to this a thermostat controller for my outdoor meat smoker. Instructions could have been better but I figured it out.
